First nissan car
So I purchased a brand new nissan sentra right off the lot, so far it's been in the shop 4 times going on 5 for electrical malfunctions to the steering wheel buttons not working to having to get a brand new radio installed because it kept shutting off and not working to my dash lights flicking on and off... this isn't a good impression to someone that is new to nissan. Mind you my car was maybe a week old car was a week old with less then 1000 miles on it for the first electrical issue now it's still less then 2000 and it's still going in to be worked on. In my opinion if I could go back I wouldn't of bought the new nissan sentra.

Are you vertically challenged?
If you’re right around the 5 ft mark, as I am, this is the car for you! Some reviews have said there is not enough headroom because of the front seats being too high. Well, for me, it’s awesome! This is the first vehicle I’ve driven that allows me to see we’ll over the hood to experience the road in a whole new light! A disadvantage to some but for me it along with Apple CarPlay clinched the sale to the point of trading in my 2013 Lexus (which was actually worth more than the Sentra SL that I purchased)! This will be the first vehicle I can actually use regular gas in. Huge savings along with the 32MPG listed fuel economy. Now....the car does have horrible acceleration especially if there are more than two average size adults. However, the ride itself combined with great features standard with the SL model, the price and economical mileage, this was the car for me.

Great car for the money!!
I paid 17,000 for my brand new 2019 Sentra SV, Its worth every penny. I've been around the block a few times, This car isn't a sports car,it's not a high end luxury car,but it has a sporty look, and it has a luxury looking interior, well appointed cockpit, everything is in easy reach, and it doesn't look at all like a piece of plastic that gauges are thrown into,so if you like a reliable car with flair, with a fair price this is the way to go.

2019 Sentra SV
Just bought a new 2019 Sentra SV and I'm very happy with it. Option list is very good. I love the styling and the drive is very comfortable and enjoyable. Tech guys can notice the difference between other competitors models but to the average person they are all the same, if you like the looks of the Sentra then buy it....you won't be disappointed.

"NISSAN JUST SEEMS LOST"
Here is just a blunt honest review. This is my 4th Nissan. I had 2012 sentra, 2018 sentra, and all new 2019 sentra. And a 2013 Nissan Versa. My 2012 sentra cvt went out at 75k. My fairly new 2018 had Aeb light (auto emergency breaking) light on. It had an engine misfire at idle occasionally. So I got miss consumer affairs to upgrade me to the 2019 SV. Folks I have to first say my 2013 Nissan versa drove much better than all 3 cars. Although very poor in power and not the greatest during high winds. This new sentra does not handle well during the smallest bumps or overall absorption. I literally feel every bump on the road with road noise. It is just so sad that the performance, ride control, and comfort is not there. Sad to also state that all 3 sentra has been owned less than a year except the versa. I will never trust Nissan again. I see all there complaints from the rogue to the sentra to the new Altima. Just time to go back to Honda for me.

WORST CAR EVER
I have a 2018 Nissan Sentra that randomly will not start. It has been in the dealership over 5 times and they cannot figure out what’s wrong. Nissan is absolutely no help when it comes to this. I am SOL and stuck with an unreliable car. Would not recommend this car!!
Unbelievable fuel efficiency
I just rented a 2019 Sentra for a week-long trip. The good is it's fuel efficiency. One tank of 10 gallon runs 400 miles, including going up smoky mountains and AC on. The tank can be bigger though. The bad are 1. The arm rest, or lack of it. It's behind your elbow. My arm has no rest! 2. The chrome instrument trim reflects sun light. Overall, 2019 Sentra provides a good ride, little bit under power but gives you 40+ MPG. That's fantastic!

Good Car but its got bugs...
I bought this car new off the lot. It runs well and I have no complaints about that. I do have an issue with the software or a short in the steering wheel controls. When you skip multiple songs using the steering wheel controls the stereo reboots. There is also an issue with the dashboard information freezing. To elaborate, while I am driving the clock will stop running on the dash. The time on the radio will continue to run but the dash is frozen. The issue is resolved when I turn the car off and back on. I have taken it to the dealer several times but Nissan says that there is no issue located.
2019 Nissan Sentra lemon car CVT Transmission
I have a 2019 Nissan Sentra that now needs a 3rd transmission per Nissan. They changed the first one at 50k so since I driver 1600 miles they would NOT replace it again they want me to pay for this out of pocket!!!! They are ripping us off with these cars they know have transmission problems I’m at 70k miles why would I need a new transmission I’m not even at 100k miles!!

You get what you pay for
I was hesitant to review this car because it was so cheap it was bound to be bad, but I can’t remember the last car I drive that was this bad. I’m cheap and have a long commute, so I needed a thrifty commuter. I picked up a brand new Sentra sv/se for like $15k. It’s reasonably comfortable, moves as quickly *as you should expect*, BUT it drives rather terribly! It’s really twitchy and nervous, my wife’s wrangler is literally better on the highway and less affected by winds. I’ve resorted to buying coilovers to lower the car in hopes this fixes the problem. It’s bad. Higher highway speeds also makes it very thirsty, as in under 30mpg. Reading all the reliability issues makes me pretty nervous too with transmissions frequently quitting just after the warranty is up. I wasn’t expecting much and I got even less!

Nice looking car
we just purchased the Nissan 2019 SV Sentra in silver with black interior. Nice looking car. We chose this model because it does not have the huge radar box on the top of the front windshield - and the infotainment screen is down in the dash away from the field of view. Hope the car is reliable - drives pretty smooth with not much noise - we like it

2019 Sentra Sv
I went from a 2004 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 4 X 4 with 290,000 miles to a 2019 Sentra SV. I've been impressed going from 14 miles a gallon up to averaging about 36. The ride is smooth, controls easy to use and its very quite. The car responds to the road, holds tight in turns and doesn't have much body sway which tells you it digs into the turn. Horse power is fine for a 1.8 Liter engine and I found myself doing 80 mph at barely 2100 RPM's with the CVT and I know I still had plenty of pedal to do more zoom zoom. Surprisingly fast once she gets going and it didn't bleed off miles per gallon either. No issues at all in the first month and 1100 Miles.

very uncomfortable
UPDATE: 10/9/19: 9mos later & the drivers seat is still hard as a rock and causes my right leg to go numb and created a constant stiffness in my lower back. The sides of the seat curve upwards and my rear end rests on the highest part while driving. My masseuse even asked if I sat on thick Wallet because I was so stiff on one side! Anyone who rides in the passenger seat says it’s uncomfortable and stiff also. The Gigantic headrest which pushed my chin to my chest and caused a pinched nerve has since been turned backwards and I no longer have that issue. (The dealership said many people have this issue so he knew what to do right away) The car is a reliable car that’s good on gas except if you’re stuck in NYC traffic on the BQE daily. I’ve noticed it eats 1/8 tank more than the 2015 Sentra. Two more years on this lease and it can’t come fast enough! I can’t wait to get rid of it and Nissan has lost a loyal customer due to their lack of support. I filed a complaint with corporate consumer affairs within 3 days of getting this car- and they couldn’t care less. ——————- I had a 2015 Sentra SR which I loved except that it was slow as snails so when i heard they came out with a Turbo with a 7" touch screen i was stoked. However this car misses the mark and after less than 2 weeks I have asked Nissan consumer affairs to step in and help me return the car. Pros: 7" touch screen, 188HP opposed to 122HP on standard Sentra, extra large backseat, streamlined dash, climate & radio controls, smoother functioning radio all around. CONS: -the drivers seat is uncomfortable- Stiff, small and doesn't give. Not to mention the bottom portion of the seat tilts backwards which leaves your body in an awkward position you cannot adjust with the power seat. my right leg goes numb and i get a shooting pain down my leg & my lower back kills me. This is VERY uncomfortable esp. since I drive 61 miles round trip to work and it feels like i'm sitting on hard floors while driving. -the headrest is awkward and protrudes from the backrest which extends my head an inch or 2 from the rest of my body- no matter how i adjust the seats or headrest. It is overstuffed and there are other reviews about the 2017 model about this too. -the seats are HARD. different passengers mentioned their seat is uncomfortable and the drivers seat isn't much different - GLARES! the matte-chrome accents on the vents and ultra illuminated dash board reflect off the drivers windows and side mirror so much that it obstructs my view. It's similar to a mirror reflection- and yes, I've dimmed the dash lights too. I've had to drive with the window DOWN in the RAIN in order to see on the highway when switching lanes.

Air bags
Not good with the air bags. A friend of mine hit a buck going about 35 MPH. Demolished the whole front end of the car and the air bags never went off. That is unacceptable. The buck was at least 200 lbs . So why is my question???? Not a very safe care anyways.

Fine daily driver
I'm not sure what the complaints about power are doing here. Ours seems to have plenty of pep. This is an economy car. My wife remarked that it seems ready to take off if she isn't careful. We aren't large people and the seats and appointments are perfect for us. The car drives smooth and handling is sharp to us. The car is my wife ride and it will take a while to figure everything out. Economy is good at about 30 mpg. The car drives about 4 miles to work in city driving. The minivan it replaced never got more than 14 mpg all year long. My Versa is cramped. This car is not and feels great on the highway. My wife's confidence in the car will allow further trips as needed instead of making me drive. No bad habits. Easy to maintain. What's not to like?

The seatbelt clasp stabs my hip. Not made for average large people. Small drivers seat. Drives ok, infotainment is easy to operate. Glad I rented it before buying.

Don’t bother
Nissan once upon a time built vehicles that were great. I had to displeasure of having a Sentra SV as a rental. It could barely get out of its own way and this CVT is ridiculous. It sounds like it can’t make up its mind what gear it wants to be in. Also gas mileage is pretty damn meager for a little four banger. I have driven Nissans in the past and this car is a disgrace to the name. Don’t buy one. And if you’re ever offered one as rental ask what else they have. If you have no choice take it until you can change out into another car.
Can’t get out of its own way!
Just got a Nissan Sentra as a rental with only 4K miles. I makes impressive noises but goes nowhere. Put it on sports setting which made little difference. Looks nice standing still , other than that not much going for it.

Should have bought a Toyota instead.
I previously had a 2011 Sentra and it was a great car so I decided to go with another Sentra. Pros: 1) Gas mileage is great. I average 36-39 mpg. Cons: 1) Front defrost is HORRIBLE. I’ve had to pull over many times because I couldn’t see anything! It’s very irritating and dangerous! 2) Transmission failed at 107,000 miles. New one cost me 4000.00. Also, the new transmission is guaranteed by Nissan for a measly 12,000 miles! Needless to say I’m not very happy with Nissan and this will be the last one I ever purchase. I should have paid a little more and went with a Toyota or Lexus. I most certainly will next time.

Solid car that has grown
My mom bought a new Sentra in 2016, and used to have me drive it. I really liked it. It just felt solid. No body rattles when it went over bumps. It has decent pick up and great gas mileage. And the SV has a nice options list. Fast forward to 2020 and my car was totaled by an uninsured driver. My rental car is a 2020 Nissan Sentra and I am currently in the process of buying a 2019 Sentra. Its a great car...I love it!
2019 Nissan Sentra
It’s a [non-permissible content removed] with electrical problems. Bought mine right from the dealership and it been in the show three or four times for the radio and dash lights flickering. This last time it shut down while my Daughter was driving how on interstate 75 in Georgia. All they say is that it’s not throwing any codes, so there is nothing they can do because Nissan won’t pay them without it showing a code! Don’t recommend this car to no one! It’s a peace of junk.

A disaster of a car
The only positive thing I have to say,ñ about this vehicle, fuel mileage is very good. The rest, pedestrian all the way. Base engine is underpowered and coarse, too noisy and always hunting for lower gears even during the slightest hill. Rear visibility is very poor, but that's almost every new vehicle these days. Lawmower-esque tires cannot keep the car tracking straight, especially on the highway with crosswind. CVT transmission sucks, as always with Nissan vehicles. Seat belts difficult to release. Poor quality vehicle, cheap in every way. Good fuel economy doesn't have to be this way.

Great Car
I am very happy with my purchase and quite glad I made the decision to purchase it. For now I have no complaints and I'm sure that I won't have any. This is my 3rd purchase at Her main and I have had no complaints to make what do ever. A great experience and a great purchase.
Transmission Issue
It’s my first time tried to have this Nissan Sentra 2019, twice happened for transmission issue in just one year, at 50K miles 1st issue then 101K same thing in just 13 months, up to now I just parked it and not to use it anytime, a trash car, brake in just 12K miles need to changed again, wow… So weird I will never ever try this brand again, NEVER!

Not quite what I expected
I have been leasing Nissan Sentra’s for the last 15 years. Sadly as the years progressed and the models became newer, the quality diminished. I got a new Sentra every three years. The 2019 I was forced to buy when the lease was up because of the Covid situation. I am tired of transmission problems with these cars. This 2019 is the worst I’ve had. Problems with the digital Soundsystem, wind noise, uncomfortable ride, poor quality seats and air conditioning systems.

One of the worst cars I’ve purchased
The car was a smooth ride up until about 70k. Then the transmission started slipping at 80k and now I have to replace it. Thank god I have extended warranty otherwise I would’ve had to come out of pocket for it. Not to mention the radio does not work with Bluetooth, it just resets all the time. I can only use aux to get it to work.

Go-karts drive better than this at times -
I've had the car for about a year now, bought it used at 65,000 miles. Looks-wise: it's great! Looks sporty, cool, and sleek. Interior is also very sleek and modern looking, but if you're over 5'10", you're going to feeling like your knees are going to hit your chin. Especially if you're sitting in the passenger seat. People have claimed the seats are a bit uncomfortable, which I haven't really realized until I read it. The head-rest is in an uncomfortable shape and position for me, which I guess I have just ignored. But the seat warmers are nice! And the part I hate the most is the way it handles driving on the road. I had the car for literally a week after a rainy-season in my city. Drove over one pothole and a tire popped, badly. Which is okay, that happens. THE NEXT DAY - I drove over another pothole, the other wheel popped! I spent $250 on the car the first week I got it! Wild. Driving on a highway or street that's a little more than "bumpy" makes me SWEAT. I'm afraid the whole car will just fall apart! Pushing on the gas to accelerate is a joke, I've driven bumper cars with more pep. Makes a lot of noise to do very little, which makes me wonder if that's why it uses SO. MUCH. GAS. This car gets 20 mph at best .. For a fairly new, smaller sized sedan? That's wild. Nissan, whyyyyyyy

2019 Sentra Nismo
While Nissan made promises a few years back of a Sentra Nismo with over 200HP , the current 181 Hp is still plenty fast and fun to drive. When it comes to the overall quality of this car I will say this , you get what you pay for. Sure it’s great but it’s also a Sentra, sure it looks amazing but it’s also a Sentra, sure it is made well , drives fine, has a nice little pep In it’s step and is very eye catching , but again ... it’s still a Nissan Sentra . Nissan however did take a Sentra up a couple notches over standard models by creating a Nismo trim, lowered , bigger wheels, sport suspension, sport bucket seats , carbon fiber, a body kit and louder exhaust , great sound system and infotainment , Super white LED headlights and fog , sport suspension and steering , when this car hits the open road , it flys, it has a good pick up and go from a stop, and isn’t hard on the eyes at all. Where could improvements be made for the cost ? Well when you buy a Nismo at the top trim level, the engine should be a minimum of 201 HP even the Electra sport offers that much, the seats should be Recaro , it should have in Dash Navigation along with the Apple car play and Android auto, a sunroof should be standard , who cares if it adds a little weight , and the windows should come tinted as a standard for all trims . The sport button should genuinely feel noticeable when pushed , and the interior could use a bit more fine tuning like USB port in the back and a rear center arm rest and cup holders . Overall however beside some nit picky things, it’s a fun , good looking and sporty car , it handles beautifully, it can get yah wherever your going safely and comfortably and it’s pretty easy on the eyes . Compared to the base engine and trim , the Nismo stands above and beyond , however it’s no Maxima . Do I recommend it . If your on a budget or just want a car that’s safe and fun for the money , and if you can find one in stock . I say go for it. If your looking for performance and a little race car, then look elsewhere unless you can afford the tune and the parts .

Don’t do it
Where should I start, well the acceleration is terrible, and for it to be a 4 cylinder the gas mileage is horrible when doing over 75mph, my transmission went out at 38901 miles and had to get it replaced then it went out again at 71098 miles not a good traveling car just really designed for a point a to b car

Unreliable
This is the 3rd Sentra I have owed. I bought it for looks not for reliability after one year I have to replace the battery. I have replace the battery in all the outer ones I have owend. The battery is only good to start a lawnmower not a car in Manitoba winter. The dealer said all 2019 Sentra are like that you have to drive it a less 50 kilometers a day for the battery to keep a charge. I am retired and don't drive much so should have not bought a Sentra
Perfect after driving a 2005 Acura
I bought this car 2 days ago, I got a great deal on it after bombarding the finance manager. With only 4,000 miles and no damage, I got a great deal. I've heard Nissan's are great cars so I went for it. I was in a 2005 Acura RSX 4 cylinder for about 2 years. I had problems all the time, car was very low to the ground, can feel every single bump and dont chance it when going through water! But, all the problems came with age, so once I got into the 2019 Nissan Sentra I felt like I was in an SUV because the seats in the front are tall. I'm 5'4 and my head doesnt even touch the ceiling, not even close. It does have a back up camera, which I never had, so to me, very luxurious. Touch screen and bluetooth. Very base model. What's crazy is that, it has good power but I cant get up to speed as fast as my Acura did. (But that's okay with me) The trunk has lots of space and you can put down the back seats to make even more room. I was also thinking about children (due to me financing on it for 6 years) its spacious in the back seat and would be perfect for small children. So far, great with commuting to work and stores and home. I barely used any gas by driving all day yesterday, so great on gas mileage. This car has ABS, locks the doors on their own, keyless entry, can choose if your lights come on when the doors open, has controls on the steering wheel, so that's all extra safety features for the car. On the outside, I liked the front because it looked sporty, but the back looks like a normal small car. I got the black one so finger prints and dirt are already being seen in two days. Other than that, great car, feels nice and luxurious to me and would recommend. I dont know how long the car will last until a problem will arise, but being so new, its gonna be awhile!!! Thanks.

Great gas saver
The 2019 is lacking power but I mostly appreciate the gas saving part it’s roomy for a man of my size 6 ft 3 in 235 lbs the 6 speed manual is great love a stick shift they are hard to find nowadays very large trunk handling is superior and the best gas mileage I have gotten has been 18.1 but usually stays around 37.3 with out eco on with eco it really lacks power and wants to change gears very quick at low rpms to get the best gas mileage but I drive with eco off all the time it’s a great travel car comfortable and very reliable one happy owner!

Built for comfort not for speed
Acceleration is groggy, otherwise it drives and handles very well. Roomy interior and trunk space, adaptive cruise control and great visibility make it perfect for my weekly 300 mile round trip commute. We are getting along famously!

4 star
I haven't had any problems with this car, except for the camera when cruise control is on. Nissan replaced it when I went in for a oil change. I didn't even ask. They just did it. I don't like the tires. They make the ride hard. I will change that when it is time to buy new tires. I don't like the nonpower when I go to pass someone. other than that it is a nice little ride. When driving 55 I got 43 mpg. But I can't keep driving 55. I need speed. lol
Short but not short enough
I bang my ear every time I get in the driver's seat. I'm 5foot3! Gas milage is good but it's too small for practical use.

Don’t buy this car. This car acceleration is terrible. When you got more than 40 mph you are going to hear a noise a real terrible noise. My nissan sentra only has 32000 and looks like 3000000. Belive me never spend your money in this brand

I absolutely hate how uncomfortable the back seat cusions are I am so infuriated and disappointed with how absurdly these cusions are designed. The person who designed these seats should be immediately fired or at the least given a cut in pay.

Great business
I absolutely love doing business with Trophy Nissan. I have bought two cars from the now and Andrew is very kind and helpful!
Great for new drivers
Not fast. Not very comfortable. But driving this as a rental I believed this car is the best value for its cost. The special addition rv adds blind spot monitoring and cross traffic features and is quick to let you know something is stopped in front of you. (Great for kids who are looking around etc). It has some speed but is great on gas. I think the car I had is $14300. Cheap but has safety features not found in cars twice the price.

Nissan or Nothing
For several years I have been a medical courier, so I drive over 100, 000 miles a year. Having a car that gets great gas mileage, and comfortable enough to handle all those hours on the road, is not an easy task. Sentre ihas become my go to car,for sure. . This is my 4th New Sentra.. That should speak for itself.
Amazing Sentra
Our new Sentra drives amazingggg. It’s gas efficient and takes u from point a to point b very easily. If you need a car, go see Karim at UCN. He is the best, and he will help you with picking the best deal for you and the best car. I will recommend him to all my friends and family. Thanks a lot ! We love our new sentra !
Decided to rent first.
This car has a nice interior and looks nice. It drives well and it's roomy enough for small sedan. This model has a 2.0 liter engine and I like it better than my current Toyota Corolla, but I know these cars have there issues with the Transmission and some electrical issues as well so I am going to play it safe and keep my Toyota it's been very reliable and I haven't had a single issue in the 6 years I have owned it infact it's barely broken in since during the lock down and before I haven't been driving it much. This is my second one with the LE Eco plus so it's very good on fuel. I get 28 city and about 32 HWY I do tend to drive fast so I get less than advertised. If these were more reliable I would think about switching but that isn't the case. Nissan should just get Toyota to teach them how to make more reliable vehicles and Nissan should teach Toyota about style.
