Relatively Speaking
This is truck for truck guys, unless you need it to haul stuff and go off road on a regular basis there are more car like options (like cars and those danged SUVS). It needs better brakes and a new engine not to mention better paint and more room in the back as well as better NVH insulation among other things. On the other hand its cheap, tough as nails, very utilitarian and looks good. Plus its loaded and will last forever, has very low maintenance and retains its residual value way better than Ford, Chevy, GMC or Dodge (not as much as the Taco though).
Not worth the money
This is the worst truck I have ever owned the gas mileage is really bad 8 miles to the gallon I have had it in the shop 10 times for leaks transmission trouble power window trouble and engine trouble

Underpowered
I bought a new Frontier in May 2004 & I just got rid of it for a 2003 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner d-cab,4 cylinder because it is more responsive & has much better fuel economy. I was so disappointed in the Nissan's poor performance, I took the loss & bought a much better truck.
Nissan Gone Bad
It looks good from the outside, and the inside isnt that bad. The only bad things I have is the terrible MPG and the wind noise.I mean, 20/22 is terrible for a 4-cylinder with 143 horsepower.
vibrating ride
Bought this and has vibrated from new.dealer says they all do it.it now has 1900 miles on it ,has had 3 sets of tires.dealer says he won't do anymore to it.im stuck with it.will not recommend this truck and will not buy another.performance very poor.
