Used 2002 Nissan Frontier Consumer Reviews
2002 Nissan Frontier
Good truck, nice interior, comfortable. Poor power, not really fun to drive.
New Owner Review
First time I've owned a new vehicle without even a hint of problems. The crew cab is best thing I've bought, truck, sedan, SUV all in one. I'm getting about 20mpg with all highway miles, better than the sticker, but, not certain why they can't get that healthy engine at around 25mpg on the highway. Mileage my only complaint.

Good Truck, Can be Improved
My fourth Nissan since 1986. This one is nice to look at....fenders, light assembly, roof rack....but drinks gas bad. Sticker said "16 to 20" but I only get 13.5 mostly highway miles. Also I am a little disappointed in the power/acceleration. I must say though that adding a load to the bed or towing does not affect the performance...I think it's torqued a little too low. Overall I enjoy the truck.
This Truck Kicks A##
I have never had this much fun driving a truck before in my life. I have taken this thing EVERYWHERE! It is only 6 months old, and it already has 15,000 miles on it. Bad for resale, but I can't help it. It's so much fun to drive!
Cons of the 2002 Frontier SE-V6
Overall, this is a good vehicle, but I remember looking up reviews on Edmunds in April prior to purchasing my truck and one reviewer wrote in about the "clicking" noises in the front. I figured it was a fluke and wouldn't happen to me. Well, it did. I have "clicking" and occassional metallic "squeaking" noises in what seems to be the front suspension -- Primarily when im turning around a corner. Had it in twice and it's still not fixed....
