My 3rd Z...
I’ve owned a 1990-300Z, 2003-350Z, and now a 2019-370Z Nismo - white (I should note all of the older cars are re-done & still on the road with family members). I wanted muscle, performance, looks and the best price. This beat out the Boxster & TT w/in those parameters. It drives great. Nissan still has a problem w/ wheel alignment. Since the 350Z model the dealerships still can’t manage alignment. Poor wheel alignment will destroy the front tires in record time - this I know for sure. An obvious left drift was noted immediately after purchase was pronounced “spec” by the “technician” - I don’t think so. The interior feels a bit cheap but is solid. I agree with others that the computer screen is awful, but functional. The car is a blast to drive though. It feels strong and moves gracefully. If you want great gas mileage, this is not for you - 17 mpg at best (city). Still, I love it. As a long time Z-car owner, if you want this car, find a qualified, private, computer-savvy mechanic and never, ever let the dealer align your wheels. I don’t think Nissan dealerships can’t routinely handle the maintenance of this car. Mine will never go back to the dealership except for warranty issues.

Don't take Edmund's Ratings Seriously
I own a 370Z, and as an Enthusiast, I can tell you first hand that all the ratings on Edmunds.com for this vehicle are bogus being under rated. Put a BMW or Mercedes, Audi or Porsche badge on the Z and Edmunds no doubt will rate it 10 points on all categories. I can Guarantee everything about the car is at least an 8 or a 9 points if you are an enthusiast like me who appreciates Sports Cars, all without paying the exorbitant pricing of a Designer Euro-Trash Snobby Car: Looks, Style, Sportiness, Fast, Agile, Comfortable, Nibble, Low cost of Maintenance, Awesome Engine (bullet proof pedigreed V6 used in the Infinity line), Awesome Tranny (especially with the Synchro-Rev Match) - You'll fall in love quick with the car after your first test drive. Disregard the ratings on Edmunds, they don't reflect the actual car - test it yourself and you'll see.

A Sports Car That is Exactly What It Should Be
I got an all-black 2019 370Z sports coupe with the 6-speed manual transmission and have been loving it every day since I got it. I got this as a driver's car and it fulfills that role extremely well, better than the Porsche that I owned in the 90s. With the new Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, road noise is not a problem. The car doesn't have alot of room for transporting cargo but that's not a big deal for me. Rear visibility at the 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock are restricted, so you have to be careful when backing up sometimes. The power is impressive and the handling is phenomenal, probably due to the fantastic tires. The tires do wear pretty badly, especially the front. When I park the car on the streets it very often turns heads as people walk by. Overall, I think it is a great value as an affordable ports car that makes mundane driving fun.
Don't take Edmunds review too seriously.
The 370z is the last of its kind and it is worth every penny. Admidtedly, it's not as comfortable as a Cadillac, but nobody should buy a car like this and expect a totally comfortable ride. It's difficult to take Edmunds review too seirously when it is littered with factual errors. Two glaring examples, the C8 is rear-mid engine not front, the 370z Sport IS avaialble with an automatic only the base model is not. Also, why are they mentionning cars that cost twice as much (Corvette, Jaguar, Porsche, etc.)? Why do they fail to mention that both the Miata and the BRZ/GT 86 are very much underpowered. The 370z is not perfect, but I have yet to meet a Z owner that does not love the car.

Out Dated? No Great!
I have a 2009 Sport Touring. If outdated means that it needs Fake Exhaust piped through the Audio and a Digital dash then don't read on. Someone here said "Great but Outdated." Do you want a real sports car with clean lines or would you rather have a Civic SI with chopped up look with Plastic bolt on spoilers that do nothing but add weight trying to make econo box look hotrod? Kinda like the Big three trying to make an SUV into a sports car LOL! Outdated is 332hp in a lighter platform that handles? Add Exhaust and Intake and you have 350hp NISMO power. A review here said 5.3 0-60. Just find or buy the upgrade Sport Touring with the Better brakes and an LSD Differential. Then you get the real 370Z .. Mid 4's 0-60 and a Low 13 1/4 mile. Exhaust and Intake can push it into the High 12's. ( over 1 sec. Faster than a Civic R) Handles as good as my old C5 Corvette or better. Reviews say it is hard to drive smoothly with the 6 spd Man.? Well the ABS intrudes a lot on take offs with it power it spins the tires easy. Hit the button to off and that power bog goes away allowing a smooth launch. Noisy?.. Tires! Crap OEM's. I bought mine with the Junk old Michelin Z rated All Seasons.. Noise! Now using the Continental DWS. Also it very easy to take all the trim out of the Rear Hatch where all the noise comes from and add Hush Mat or like I did Peel and Seal from Lowes. Worked on a C5 Vette and the same with the 370. Hwy at 70mph - 28-29mpg. In town 19mpg. Can't complain about that! Reliable.. 74K and no problems. LOVE IT!

Great Sports car
First of all I love the color and the way it looks. The Nismo Feels the way a sport car should feel like. Starting with Recaro seats and the way they hold you. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD),roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags,14" 4-piston front brakes, 13.8" 2-piston rear brakes,H-PIPE FREE-FLOW DUAL EXHAUST "Beautiful Sound",VIBRATION DAMPERS AND CHASSIS REINFORCEMENT,19" x 9.5" front and 19" x 10.5" rear RAYS,Independent Suspension, stiffer springs,3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL), SynchroRev Match " I usually keep it off", a tight, rigid body structure with a strut tower bar brace and a pair of performance dampers,Advanced Active Noise Cancellation,Active Sound Enhancement (ASE),driver-centric 2-seat cabin, the body is wider than regular Z. I drove BmW M series, Corvette 7 series, 370z sport touring, nissan Gtr. Bmw and gtr felt like a regular sedan with a powerful engine. corvette was nice but it was driving me rather then me driving it and infotainment was too similar to my suv which is more comfortable. Test drive the Nismo "if you can" you will be pleasantly surprised. Money Well Spend.

Snappy sportster
Love the power and handling and the exhaust note growl. Seats are a bit snug as is the entire interior, but it’s cozy and holds you in tightly. It’s a real “looker” and timeless in its exterior style. Purchased barely used at a great discount...makes me love it even more.

Used but not abused
Bought this blue touring 370Z with only 8,900 miles and in great condition and I love it. The auto trans is awesome with paddle shifters and the price was in line with a cheap basic new Econo car. It is an old design but very well made and highly desirable for true car aficionados. Highly recommended if you find one well taken care off.
Very fun and peppy convertible!
Cons - 1) road noise, but it is a soft top convertible; 2) blind spots are awful; 3) hard to clean inside of back window. Besides the Cons, it's a great sports car!

2019 370Z Nismo
I’ve always wanted a Z but always got the practical car. Honda Civic, Accord, Nissan Sentra, I had 3. I remember in 2000 I brought my 1998 White Sentra in for radio repair. Since I had to wait I walked into the Show Room. My eyes immediately went to the Black Z. I looked inside & thought “ those seats look tight”. They were and I was over 300 lbs. I felt sad for myself and I remember thinking one day I’m going to sit in a Z. Fast forward to September 2018 and 200 lbs lighter my fiancé & I went to Auto Nation in Las Vegas to check out the Z’s. There she was my Dream Car. I asked the salesman if we could test drive it. So I went with my salesman Dan Lopez for that drive. He drove the car out of the show room and drove it on the street. He asked me if I wanted to drive the car. Hell yeah. Drove really great. We went back to the dealership & I tried to negotiate a good price. He gave me a price I wasn’t sure of so we left. Next day we went to Audi & looked at the TT. I texted Dan while my fiancé got the A4. We went to Nissan & I said ok. Drove my baby home and thought WoW I’m actually sitting in a Z. I accomplished my dream of getting into the Z but then I Bought the Nismo. I’ve been told I’m the only person in Vegas that ownes a 2019 Black 370Z Nismo. That’s fine with me...

A drivers' impression of Nissans 370Z
How does a driver who is seeking some of the finest in class handling, acceleration and good looks, buy just one car? The Nissan 370Z fills the niche nicely. While the car suffers from mediocre reviews on the internet, most read almost exactly the same and focus on points that in many cases leave you wondering if the author actually even viewed the car in person, as they are so miniscule or insignificant. They state that the ride is harsh over large bumps. Why yes, it is. It's a sports car which sits low to the ground, uses very stiff materials in suspension bushings (which transmit road noise) and handles with the nimble agility of a gazelle. Matter of fact, the 370Z and Corvette achieve almost identical numbers on the skid pad, right at the 1.0g mark. Track testing of the car reveals a close rivalry between the 370, Porsche Boxster, Toyota Supra, pre C6 Vettes, Audi S5, and the Ford and GM and Dodge Pony Cars to be very indicative where this car fits in the scheme of todays' sports car... While is is now considered to be dated, many features are not and you can't argue that it's horsepower, braking and track oriented numbers are very impressive. Fuel economy is an impressive 8.2 L/100km combined or 35mi./imp.gal. if you are not enjoying the bellow of a 7500rpm redline and the sweet whine of it's manual gearbox. The independant rear axle transmits the 332hp (350 in NISMO trim) to the ground through some nice 18" super sticky Yokohama tires. What can be done to right the things that give writers fits? Perhaps the biggest thing in my opinion is the instrument cluster. It suffers from no less than 3 styles of gauges and lacks an oil pressure gauge. Nissan could have given us a useable oil pressure gauge in the pod presently reserved as a clock, which would be better suited on the infotainment system (I mean radio). Which brings me to my wish list. - A small displacement VVT V8 with future upgrades like turbo/supercharging. - An integrated and advanced infotainment system with intuitive hands free capability and track oriented apps. - A larger factory supported selection of upgrades, such as aero components, suspension upgrades, and vanity items such as trim pieces in various themed finishes. -Harley Davidson has perhaps mastered this segment for the motorcycle industry as an example. And finally, A NISMO hybrid version using a gasoline engine and single electric motor to drive all 4 wheels via a computer controlled torque delivery system. Whatever you decide, this Nissan sports car continues to be an overall impressive package that will not disappoint.

It’s a excellent drivers car
First off it is incredible value for the money. I have owned a 2017 for 4 years no problems whatsoever. The handling and power with a manual is absolutely entertaining to drive. This is a sports car that has been perfected. There is nothing old about driving this beauty. Will become a collectable classic!

Great but outdated
Great looks, great power, average handling, poor safety features and lack of safety features like no blind spot sensors, no active emergency breaking, no lane departure warning.

A strain to keep it from a “two star” rating
Those above who feel defensive about Edmunds rating for the 370 Z can’t be true sports car veterans or they would agree with the reviewers views on transmission as “ notchy “ would ring truer than true! It is bulky and and resists rapid shifting no matter what you do! The rear views are a series of blocked all the way from the tiny rear side to the hatch starts to offer a look back.

Not worth the money for this vehicle!!!
Nothing but problems with this vehicle. Experience with this vehicle is resale value sucks!!! I, had nothing good to say about this vehicle. Problems with the transmission. Problems with other things. (Way to expensive for repairs) Over priced vehicle that has no back seat. Bad gas mileage. Under steering problems.. Absolutely walk away from these vehicles

Lust at First Site
I had been shopping pre-owned roadsters for months and finally decided the 370Z was my car! I have only had the car for 2 weeks, but I am ready for a cross-country trip. I had read that the Zs were a rough ride.....not yet! Read they were noisy...but not! The ride is smooth and exhilarating! I invent reasons to drive! Just want to take it somewhere that I can punch it without seeing flashing red lights behind me. It is early in this love affair but so far so glad I said "I Do" to this 2017 307Z. P. S. Never too old to enjoy a great ride. Turned 70 -this year!
