If you want to handling of BMW, the ride of Lexus, the reliabiltiy and resale of MB, then this is your car. The nice thing too,is that there are not to many of them on the road. It's everything you should expect in a luxury car and this time you get it for a price that's not crazy. Forget the bring Accura's, forget the boxy 5 series BMW, this is perfect for the sophisticated buyer with no kids.

Love it

This is my 4th CLK. Loved them all. Holds the road great. The new cupholder I prefer, however, I do hear complaints that there is a need for two. A tire inflation monitor would be helpful. So as you can see, don't have any complaints.

I love this car and it may be one of the finest creations Mercedes has ever put on the market.

"Transformer!"

As my son(6) says..."ahh sweeet, you got a transformer car!" Love the push button top up/down. And it's hidden in the trunk. Stuck in traffic? No problem. Put the top up at the light! I love it all, but the cupholder is too far away, and radio station settings are too complicated. Plenty of room in the back seat. Trunk has enough room for shopping at Costco. Another drawback... too much attention.

'05 CLK Cabriolet compared to '03

I owned an '03 and it was a disaster - poor trim and finish, leaks, silly interior flubs in design ... altogether an awful car. It was shocking. But, having been a Benz driver since '89, I felt the urge to give it one more try before moving (like everyone else) to Lexus. I have been pleasantly surprised by the major improvement in quality in this new model. The top is infinitely better in all respects, the interior trim is higher quality all around, the noise level is lower, the finish is far superior. It's as if a different car company made it. Anyway, they "saved" this one customer by putting some quality back in. I hope MBZ learned a lesson.
