Was bought with 87,000 miles from friend who bought it new. Accept for a few minor replacements of radiator, fuel pump relay and evaporator core & hose assembly which seemed somewhat expensive my wife enjoys driving it. We have after 4 yrs increased the mileage to 117,000. We probably will keep it until "the wheels are square" as they say with this latest A/C expense.

I bought the 4-matic wagon used at 180,000km and had immediate issues with the transfer case, transmission and drive train generally. The ultimate solution to the AWD problems was to remove the front drive shaft. Once over initial maintenance corrections the car settled down to being very reliable and comfortable transportation. Currently it is over 430,000km and still going. The body is just now beginning to show some rust nineteen years after it was built. What a great car!

This has been this best car I have ever owned. It has served me well. I have taken excellent care of it. Have owned it since day one. I really do not want to get rid of it but do need a newer car for work.

This is one heck of a car. The car drives like new even though it's an 89. Everything works on it, even the large sunroof. Slow to get going, but great in traffic. When you puch it, it takes off fast. I wish Mercedes still made them like they used to. Parts last a long time but are expensive and labor too. I have 135000 miles and still running smooth.

For my first car my parents bought a White 1990 Mercedes 300E. I love everything about the car except it has terrible pick up. Pulling out into traffic is terrifying sometimes. But once I'm on the freeway the power is great. Other than that the car is awesome. Its extremely comfortable, since my dad put new struts on it the ride is extremely smooth. My mom loves the power seats and all the things the headrests do. And everything on the car is built solid and strong. No cheap plastic. All my friends are envious of it and they don't realize that it is a 20 year old car. She's a great car and she will run for a long time.
