Used 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300-Class Consumer Reviews
Love my Benz
Just bought this 300SEL about a month ago from the original owner who was friend. It never saw snow or bad weather so it was in great shape. After driving, Park Avenues, Lincolns, Cadillacs and Chryslers I find this the best out of them all. I find myself leaving the new DeVille in the garage and driving this. I cannot believe how quiet this car is and how roomy it is. We just got back from a day trip with friends and they couldn;t get over how quiet the interior is and how no road noise could be heard inside. After a couple of hours of driving none of us were horse from trying to talk over the road noise you get from most cars. I definitely plan on keeping this car for a long time.
Gonna miss it . . .
This has been an awesome car--1989 300E which now has 210,000. People can't believe it's 15 yrs old! Overall, paint still looks GREAT, but a few rust spots around jack holes at bottom and around trim. I'm going to have to part with it soon and get newer model. I think if not for rust, I may have considered keeping it a while longer. Solid, smooth ride and easy to handle. Great interior quality- -still looks great. Have had it to the dealer only a few times--which is a good thing--pricey! We do minor maintenance and repairs ourselves. Got my money out of this one.

TOP SHEL AUTO
I have had 10 Mercedes Benz autos. I now have a 1983 380 SL roadster. Great car. Put $7,000.00 into it but bought it right. No rust, one owner, woman. One can say what they want but I prefer to buy from a female. They mostly are easier on cars then males. I replaced air conditioner system, stablelizing bars, middle muffler, timing chains, ALL maintanence, tranny tune up, plugs, radiator flush, new brak fluid, etc. I am into car for $ 13,000.00. This is a classic model. Great buy. Offered $17,000.00 more then once. NOT FOR SALE. GREAT RIDE. Just bought a 1990 300 SEL, 6 cylinder, straight job. What a TANK. Great find. Did mechanical work, will need new paint 119,999 k, low mileage, no rust, happened to be owned by a woman also, lol. As I said I have had 10 mercedes, this 300 SEL has a feel all it's own. Not a slow car either. When I drive this car, I feel like I have a new out of showroom car. EVERY TIME. A great old school BENZ. The older Mercedes were put together by the engineers first. Then they told the accounts to price them. Today although they are still great cars, the accountants tell the engineers , here is your budget. Skim if you must. Any way I have had many fun filled years with my Mercedes Benz rides. Happy Motoring.

300D
I bought a 300D a few months ago and I think it is one of the best cars you can get. It is the most reliable car I have ever had. It's a little bit slow but the comfort makes up for it. If you're looking for a good car that is cheap on insurance it is the way to go.
A Flagship Car
My 1989 300E is is in fact one of if not the best used vehicle that I ever had. I always wanted a 300E until I bought this one. It has 134000 miles and is still rolling, not ready to retire at the junkyard. I love it better than a Lexus, I enjoy the car so much that I drive it to anywhere I go. The 300E flows like the rivers of Egypt. Some experts say that cars are like women, "Those who are beautiful are seldom faithful and those who are faithful are seldom beautiful". But the 300E is at the same time beautiful and at the same time faithful. In sum, it is beautiful, it is durable. and it is a Benz.
