Purchased ours new on November 2, 2020 in the beautiful red color. It has a sporty look and has quick acceleration. We are very pleased and are getting to know all the many features. I highly recommend the Mazda CX 30.

Great car I love it. Exept the front diff.

I love this car. But the front diff needs a fix. The 2020 CX-30's (2.5 AWD) front differential, has a major problem. The fill plug has a metal bracket that partially covers the plug. You cannot remove the plug as it is. Could you make a video that would show how to move the differential enough that drivers could do a fluid change? Mazda fixed the problem on the 2021 and newer CX-30's. Maybe it would be possible to swap a older bracket with a newer one? So far Mazda has blown me off for any kind of a fix. The dealerships have told me that the differential is "unserviceable". Thanks Update 9 Jan 2024 - I've had the car for 40,000 miles now. Nothing has broken yet. It's still a great car. So far, the maintenance (exept for the front diff) has been easy. Oil changes is easy, dropping the transmission pan to get to the filter is easy. You don't need tools to get to the air filter. Spark plugs are easy to get to. Still no fix for the front diff. But it hasn't been a problem so far. The owner's manual only recommends a fluid change if the diff has been submerged in water. I'm still hoping one day someone will figure something out for this fix. The car is built for road trips. As the front seats are comfortable all day. I get about 30 mpg. The car has some speed to it. It gets me up the I-70 to the ski resorts at 80 mph easy if I want to. I love the cruise control with the radar. Even with the problem with the front diff. I still highly recommend this car. Update July 2024. The car is at 45,000 miles. And still no problems. Nothing had broke yet. I still do my own maintenance, as it is all very easy.

After 4 years I still love this car. Not 1 issues (except a loose floormat) and still performs perfectly.

Interior chrome or silver trim and console

Having a console in the middle with instruments was a big mistake in design. And I bought mine certified with 4100 miles on it it now has 9400 and the silver trim on the buttons is peeling. I was cut two different days on two different fingers before I realized it was the brake release button. I took it to Mazda and they said yes the chrome plating is peeling. They then proceeded to scrape it off leaving the white plastic that looked like it came from dollar tree. One week later another spot chipped off I’m going in next week to tree to get it fixed but they don’t seem positive the certified will cover. Just not as good as the Nissan Maxima I had for 8 years. I’ve only had this 10 months. My old car still looked new no scratches at all this cx30 I have the plastic around the buttons looks terrible. I do like the way it drives so far
