Great reliability, and performance, so , close to 80000 miles, original tires, and rear brakes. Since new I have replaced battery(at 72000 miles) and front roters, along with normal maintenance items. I am very happy with my mazda 6 !!

My first car🥹
My parents gave me this car for my 16th birthday, and it has been the best car!!! I have never had any mechanical issues or electrical issues. Always ran smooth even after 100k miles. I love this car, unfortunately totaled it when I hit a deer, so I am sad to see it go:(

Bad experience
mazda had a large number of complaints about the upgraded stereo, there was even an online petition about how bad this head unit was maybe the petition was turned off after 4000 signers, They stuck it right back into the 2015 model same problems. The thing is so bad that the unit is no longer in the 2016. I Have to crank my neck so much just to get into it , I how had a sore neck constantly. The AC vents for the driver are so badly placed that they are great at cooling your left wrist and right forearm but can't hit your face. They have also changed that on the 2016. The Ac unit is only so-so in the Arizona desert it can take 10 miles of driving to really feel like the car is cooling down. Traded the car in lost $9000 in value in one year. Hated the car. Will never buy a Mazda again. Tried them 3 times bad to only so-so cars. Bought a Scion one made by Toyota not Mazda. Have been asked to update my review it has stayed the same.

My first, but not last...drive in a Mazda6_...
This is, as I found out, a well designed, manufactured, and product on sale in the USA. I've came away from this test with a smile! Yes it's a Mazda, one of those strange cars from 'over there', cheaply made and dumped on us.....that's so far from this truth it warrants no further mention. If you're in the market for a new car, do your bank account,

Great Exterior Design, Unpowered Performance
I have owned my 2015 Mazda 6 for about a year now. The exterior design and color (platinum silver) are stunning but the 4 cylinder engine woefully lacks the get-up-go you would expect in a car that looks this good. Recommend that Mazda offer a 4 cylinder turbo and/or V6 option in future models since that lack of power is a major disappointment. It also looks like the Mazda design engineers were going too much for the German "austere" stripped-down interior look in the 2015 model which is a major step backward from the previous 2013 Mazda 6 that I owned. This is a Japanese car so it is supposed to have a flashy interior with a highly illuminated instrument panel that sets it apart from its boring German counterparts. Bottom line: this is a great looking car with an underwhelming power train and boring dash board instrumentation - jazz these 2 things up a bit and you'll have customers buying a Mazda 6 instead of a BMW 5 or Mercedes E series.
