I expected more.
I had owned Honda Accords for 12 years but then, I fell in love with the Mazda6 body style! I have driven it for 1 year now and although I still love the outside of the car, I am unhappy with the quality of the inside. I have had the dealer replace all the seat bottoms because, they ALL began to wear where there is wire under the cloth. This is true in every Mazda6 out there! Push on the seam and you will feel it. Now the driver seat needs to be replaced where the seatbelt is rubbing through the fabric (I am short and have the seat pretty far forward). The gauges are hard to read due to the steering wheel, no matter how I adjust it.
Zoom Zoom is everywhere
Great car for value on the market. Good millage as a cars with over 270 PS under hood average 21 miles per gallon. Bed side is only limited speed to 132 mph. In Germany hgwy no doubt. You can get easy over 155 mph and the worst is that this car can do it more than that. Nice acceleration 0-60 under 6.5 s. Beast!!! Only speed limit and breaks poor quality (pads changed after 14K miles and rotors after 22K) are under average. Also hand set free system is screwed only for US and Canada with dailling European nr you can do it on phone book.

Real Zoom Zoom
After tring Altima,Accord,Civic,Gallant and camry , i felt nothing like driving mazda , the cornering , the sharp turn superb handling
Don't bother
After 8 months I have had problems with the A/C, Mileage is awful, exterior finish is below par, suspension and steering noises. I am trying to sell it to get a Honda. Even a Hyundai would be better now.
Slip joint problem and pulsating brakes
Purchased car Dec. 08, Feb 09 -to dealer for knocking noise when turning, car inspected, nothing found. Noise continued, May 09 to dealer for knocking noise when turning and pulsating brakes. Valiant grease to steering column shaft. Breaks inspected, no issue. Noted some improvement with turning noise. Returned 6/3 for both issues continued. Replaced steering column, excessive movement in the slip joint used for steering wheel adjustment. Informed had same problem with older Mazda 6 and grease worked, but not 09. Replace the front rotors for customer satisfaction and at 14,950 machined back rotors. Not impressed with the continuing issues only 6 mo. car. If continues will pursue lemon law.
