Wasn't on my radar screen
I was looking for a Honda, as I've had several over the years. I stopped by this dealership because he was a friend of mind. Frankly, I had forgotten he sold Mazdas (he's primarily a VW and Audi dealer). To be neighborly, I took a test drive and loved the way it drove. He had a silver one in his show room and I thought it looked great and had much better features than the cars I was looking at (Civic, Fit, etc.). I like the peppier engine and how sporty it is.
The best Mazda yet
I am partial to Mazda. I have owned to many cars from American to Japanese. I love cars. This is my 4th Mazda. I love everything about it. My husband loves it to which is surprising. It handles real well and has enough pick up. As far as gas goes I haven't had it long enough to make a comment on that yet. The tech package is great. I have children and they have no problem with the room in the back seat neither do I. I always sit in the back to see where my knees are. I am 5'6" and i was comfortable back there. The trunk has good space to. I like the orange inside it lights up the dash rather well. The whole layout is perfect to me. I would recommend this car. you get alot for your money.

You Must Buy a Mazda3
I bought my 2010 mazda for it's appearance inside and out. It takes corners sharply, ride is smooth, easy to handle, feels & looks sporty. Has awesome power. When I drive I feel like saying ZOOM ZOOM! I would recommend. 2010 has traction control which is an upgrade from prior models. Controls on the steering wheel is smart. Air Conditioner cools car down faster than I ever experience and it isn't too cold where you have to turn it down or off - just right.
Great Feel, Fun to Drive - minor nuances
Have the car 2 weeks...3i-Touring with sunroof and Bose stereo. Sunroof was a must...too much AC at work. Starting to enjoy stereo. Enjoying use of trans manual mode...merging at on-ramps, especially clover leafs. One real tank of gas_30.9 mpg mostly hwy at 75. Car is fun to drive...as much as work commute allows. Driven on local curvy, country roads, handling was great and took turns well... ZoomZoom is a good description. Purchased because of fun styling and driving...compared with 9 other vehicles (compact and midsize)...replaced a 7-yr old, 6cyl GM. MPG may not match hybrid, diesel or Civic/Corolla...but FUN to drive!! "Punch down" acceleration not my old 6cyl...but knew it going in.
Great Upgrade from my Ford Focus
My quest for a new car started at the beginning of the year. I went to the Denver Auto Show and the Mazda 3 caught my eye. Up and until this car, I had always purchased/driven either a Chevy or a Ford. I tried to like and purchase a Chevy Malibu but I just could not stop looking at the Mazda 3. It is fun and easy to drive. The interior cabin is absolutely amazing. I love the exterior lines and design, they look fantastic. It is easy to mistake this car for BWM both in design and performance. My commute to work is so much more fun. Best car for the price in this class.
