Used 2017 Lexus RX 350 Consumer Reviews
Don't get deceived by the looks & features
++update After struggling with the vibration and noise issue for the past 2 years and working with Lexus service department I finally quit. There is no fix for the vibration issue nor Lexus cares to fix it. I wouldn't suggest this car to even my enemies. Stay away RX 350 as its not worth the hassle and definitely not your hard earned money. The vibration in the center console area now creeped up to the steering wheel and gets worse with the cold temperatures. ------ As a first time Lexus buyer I am highly disappointed with my car as I had great expectations from a luxury car maker known for its quality and quietness. After going back and forth with the service department and Lexus Field Technical Specialist for 4 months the exhaust on my car was finally replaced last week. However, I didn't notice any improvement and can still feel the low vibration at various speeds. At this point, I am not sure what else to do as I don't feel Lexus will accept that there is genuinely a problem with their RX 350's. If you want more information on the vibration and noise issues you can go to clublexus.com and find for yourself. If you still want to buy this car then I would suggest you drive the car you're buying for at least 20 miles and not just the test drive vehicle.

Vibration and Drone on take off
Had this car for nine months now. From day one every time you take off there is a vibration. and low. frequency exhaust note that is just unacceptable especially for a $50k + car. Come to find out its a known problem Lexus is aware of. Many consumers are having this issue but according to Lexus they are saying one of two things. We know about the issue and do not have a fix at this time or its a characteristic of the. new model..Which. is it. Lexus, I would definitely stay away. Lexus quality has definitely taken a turn for the worse.

Lexus, please FIX drone noise and vibration issue!
GOOD: Sharp design and nice looking inside and out. Quality interior materials. No squeaking noises. Roomy interior, luxury feel. Good base stereo. BAD: Second year in production, and common issue with annoying drone noise + vibration still not fixed! Hard to believe!!! Transition is set for maximum mpg and hardly forcing higher gears / lower rpm's causing drone noise and vibration coming from inadequately designed exhaust system while slow incline on higher gear/lower rpm's. Dealer said: it is normal characteristic of the new RX's. 2016 and 2017 are affected, no fix until now (end of January 2018). Illogical entertainment system, very confusing to navigate, not intuitive at all. No manual on/off controls for AC. Slow throttle respond. Slow acceleration. Slow rear gate. Heavy doors. Voice recognition does not understand me most of the time. Too soft power-steering, feels like a driver has no 100% control. Too soft suspension (my is 2WD not F-Sport model) feels unstable in curves. Transition shifting is strange, sometimes is not sure what gear should choose. Definitely not what I expected form Lexus and 50,000.00. Our other cars: 2011 Outback 2.5 is quiet and smooth like years ago while dealer delivery, and absolutely outstanding 2017 F-Pace diesel - pleasure and fun to drive with no single issue. If you just need a machine to move you from point A to B, than RX is for you, but if you are "car person" and having enjoyment while driving....look elsewhere!

Not a high quality vehicle
Disappointed with the vibration and noise issue at 1200-1500 RPM range also disturbed by the hesitation.

Failed Lexus!!!
Giving a single star due to droning noise and vibration issue and the hesitation issue of the 8 speed transmission.. please check out the details at club lexus online forum.. there are detailed discussions on these 2 issues (vibration & noise; hesitation) with the new RX 350.. Lexus gets an F grade on the RX re-design. BTW 450h, the hybrid version seems to be fine as it is not impacted by the above said issues... stay away from gas version until Lexus fix this issue.... my 2 cents.. disgruntled owner of a $59K MSRP 2017 RX 350.
