Used 2017 Lexus RX 350 Consumer Reviews
Luxury at its best!
A great SUV, it handles very well on towns as it does in the expressways. Drove a 2023 as a loaner and didn’t like how it handles. We will keep maintaining this SUV for many years to come, is luxury as it’s best.
Great overall so far
I really like the power, safety and look of my 2017 Lexus RX. However, the car is too heavy and the gas milage is kind of low. Also the handling is not very impressive for the base model. The Lexus Mark Levinson sound system is amazing but the factory navigation is really annoying. So, I bought and installed an after market Apple car play to connect it to my phone. I highly recommend this upgrade to anyone with an older model Lexus. If I did not do this upgrade I would give the car 3 stars because of its expensive annoying factory navigation system.

Lexus works fine!
Love my Lexus except for one important thing.....Can not do a touch screen and have to reach for menu which makes it difficult. I have to stop the vehicle to make any changes.
It's exactly what I need at this stage in my life
I had a 2009 Infiniti G37, and loved it and it was actually cheap to own. Unfortunately, I ride bikes, I have a house that needs repairs, and hauling gack from the lake to the compost facility. So... replacement time. Besides, it had over 200k on it. In late 2020 I bought a 2017 RX350 with 18,000 miles. Premium with NAV, 20 in wheels, 12 speaker, and all the safety stuff. It's mostly good with about 7k added to the odometer with one scare. The lane keeping actually tries to steer the car to keep it in lane, but on curves it does get it wrong sometimes. Quick trip to the dealer to get that feature turned off. I don't mind the buzz thru the steering wheel, it gets turned off if you signal a lane change. It handles well, I suspect it accelerates faster than my 1982 Mustang GT did. I did find that the mouse works best if you have your wrist planted on the console, less jiggle. It loses a star for the tires. They have absolutely no business on a car like this, They're afraid of snow. Update: So, the LKA has an issue when you use the cruise control. It has a tendency to do the ping pong from side to side. It wants to go left for a while, then right. But only on cruise. I turned off the active assist and only had the vibrate on and it still happened. On the making the car more user friendly, how about a single button labeled TOW. It disables the rear ICS, and it would be nice if it also shut off the alarm just for the rear, The front collision detection is pretty good. The car in front of me stopped, and it started the warning just as I was hitting the brakes moderately. Update. I found out the Nav system was obsolete when the car was brand new.beginning in 2018 they went to a subscription service and stopped updating the map. My car isn't eligible for the subscription. The nav adds how many thousands to the price? Update... It turns out the Nav on my car was obsolete when it was built. 2018 cars could get in on the subscription service to keep the maps current. They knew it was going to happen, and they still released a nav system they weren't going to support for even 1 year. I'm at just over 90k, and the rear shocks started leaking. Local garage suggested Monroe shocks. I called my normal mechanic and he found he could put OEM Lexus shocks in for only $5 more. Reviews said the Monroes were very good, but the OEM was a little more refined on the ride. Outside of that, the car is doing well. I did have the battery replaced 6 months ago. It turned out it was still the original battery in the car.
