Android Play not working for NX 300

Why would lexus build a car and only include IPlay and not Android Play as if there is not a large percentage of users that have Android Phones. It was an after thought and customers like myself that purchased the NX 300 that was built prior to October 2019 are not compatible. But Lexus has no solution and no guarantee that they will do a backward compatibility solution to rectify it. I wouldn't not have purchased a vehicle that didn't work with my phone. I am so frustrated because I can't use any of the projection technology that I was so looking forward to using.

Test drove car (as well as others). Found the seats very comfortable. Dash layout good Found the console with no room to store any thing other then drink containers Door inserts were very limiting- could not but any drink containers in them Rear window had limited viewing - with head rest in way was even more restricted. Need to put down seats to have a better view Rear door was concave and limited what could slide in The front of the car was bumperless. Nothing to protect you Only way to get 10.2 inch screen was to get GPS. This defeats the purpose of having Applyplay. Being able to plug in your IPhone and use those functions, WISE, MAPS, MUSIC, the GPS becomes useless + plus you will have to pay for annual up dates These were a few of the key issues we found

It is my 5th Lexus- pros - smaller than RX350, parking is breeze, speedy, gas mileage . Cons- drivers seat is uncomfortable, GPS working totally wrong, one CD, non lockable gas tank.

Love the smaller size of the NX. Traded in RX a few years ago and it was best decision. Handles so well. Zero problems. Willbuy again!

I just bought this car for my wife. It's my 5th Lexus from the same dealership at Ourisman Lexus, Gaithersburg, MD, good price and great services here. Tested drive it, just loved it - turbo engine is nimble and very quick for acceleration. Loved the interior layouts, colors, etc. Overall, I have a good MPG, about 25 on normal drive and almost 27 on highways. My son has Lexus, ES350, and myself driving a RX350! Just loved them all! I could not wait for my retirement car in years to come - maybe a sport one, LFA!
