2024 Kia Sorento Consumer Reviews

Love the Sorento
In 2021 I had test driven the then-new current Sorento, both the S with the base engine and the X-line Prestige with the turbo. I was impressed with the handling of both, and felt the base engine was adequate, and rode a bit smoother that the X-line. For context, I was driving a 3 series BMW at the time, and this car did not feel forbiddingly inferior. Due to the shortages and price inflating at the time, I ended up leasing a Ford Edge but the Sorento was day-and-night superior. Fast forward to 2024, I lease a Sorento X-line Prestige. This car feels premium inside, and sporty with its turbo. It actually feels so good driving it. I think some Genesis has trickled down to this Kia. Safety features are amazing. Great fuel economy. Having driven both base and top line models, I don't think you could go wrong with any current Sorento.

Great SUV
I really like my Sorento. I do wish it had a more powerful engine, seems gutless at times. Overall, a really nice vehicle.

Gray Wolf Sorento
So far so good. Have only had for 5 days. Has great ride and pick-up. Many features, have not had time to explore yet. Have gotten many second glances on the appearance of vehicle.

Sorento? More like Swolrento!
I have had this car for a year now and I love it. It looks sporty but functions well as a mom car in terms of space and safety. Its smart features have saved me from and accident or two, they seem annoying and bossy at first, but it's a small price to pay for safety. The cabin is well designed, the third row seating is pretty compact, but what do you expect, right? Even with a toddler spilling God-knows what all over the back seats, it is still easy to clean up. Don't let the mom car features fool you, when you want to speed up, it GOES. 300 HP rocks. The only thing I don't like about it is the proximity alarm when you're in a drive thru, like bro, I KNOW I'm close to the wall, my arms are short, ffs.
