Good vehicle for a family
My wife wasn't impressed when the dealership gave us two different coded keys. She couldn't start the van because the key she had was coded wrong for the ignition. It took the dealership 6 hours to get back to her to explain why the van wouldn't start. We've also had to return to the dealership to have the cigarette lighter replaced with a cell phone plug-in. The vehicle only had one power plug. Neither my wife or I smoke, so we preferred to have two power plugs. There are a lot of bells and whistles, almost too many to get to know in a short period of time. I've found that some of the accessories, like the pull up tray between the driver and passenger can make it difficult to engage the seatbelt.
Initial Review of 06 Sedona LX
A great driving experience. Almost too much power. I suspect that will be nice when we tow our future pop-up. It is roomy though a bit less than the Senna or Odyssey. For the price, that is OK. I think KIA needs to work on being a little more consistent with their controls. They have dials for temp control up front and push buttons for the rear, for example.

Save money...and enjoy it!
I have owned a Honda Odyssey and a Town & Country, and this is a much better value, and is as good as the Honda and a whole lot better than the Chrysler for overall performance and comfort. The ride is terrific, and the new body gives more room than in the past. We traded our overpriced (way, way overpriced) Town and Country for this, and we are thrilled. It compares very favorably to the Odyssey (we owned one of those before the T & C), but with more options...fully loaded for around $30,000. Drive the Toyota, the Honda, even the Chrysler, but stop at Kia last...compare apples to apples, and you wont be sorry.
amazing vehicle; equal to any Japanese
Nice to drive, solid, quiet and with more features than my Denali. A real bargain that thankfully hasn't caught on enough to increase the price. Easily worth thousands more than the asking price.
Very Surprised!
My wife and I recently had our third child age 5 and under. Given car seats, stroller, diaper bags etc. we felt like we had to succumb to a minivan. After researching/comparing other minivans the Sedona seemed like the best bang for the buck. We have owned our Sedona for 5 weeks now and we are thrilled with the very comfortable car-like ride, smooth handling, climate control throughout the cabin and all the extra room. We are extremely pleased at this point, and can't imagine not having this wonderful vehicle. Highly recommend at this point in our ownership.
