i use the Sedona for work, loaded with tools and parts. It has performed very well. city/hwy combined mileage is always above 20mpg. It can be fun to drive for a minivan and acceleration is exceptional for a vehicle this size. I have had a couple problems, turn signal stopped working; but seems to have fixed itself. my biggest problem has been finding a competent dealer and the prices they charge are comparable to infinity(for 60k service) I purchased the van because my wife has a 2003 optima which has been problem free. And the KIA was the last car I wanted her to buy. oh yes, plan to keep it as resale is nonexistent.

We purchased our new Kia after our 2000 Chevy Venture starting having problems due to its age and 95,000 miles on it. No complaints with the Venture but I didn't like to looks or the price of Chevy's Uplander. After pricing the Chevy and the Dodge vans we decided to check out Kia. so far I love it We did have to have the fuel pump replaced right away as it was taking a lot of cranking to start it. Kia gave us a loaner to use which was identical to our vehicle...great move Kia. :) I highly recommend people to check out Kia, great amenities for the price!

Bought a new '06 in '07. Thought we were getting a deal.Buy van get RIO free.Still think there was something illegal about the paperwork, since we ended up with a loan on the "free" RIO.the van has not performed well at all. Headlights constantly going out.As soon as temp drops under 40 side doors freeze shut(dealership thinks I'm crazy)Third row seat keeps getting caught, have to use screwdriver to unstick it.Brakes and tires shot at 20000 miles. Alignment has never been right. Airbag had to be fixed. Light still comes on. Engine light on and off all the time. They say there is nothing wrong with it,but van keeps acting like it is going to die on the road.Value is next to nothing.

I love how the van rides, sits and style of it. I've only owned the van for 3 months, so I can't comment on the quality and reliability. However, I would throw caution to the wind when you consider Kia at the present moment. The issue I have with them is lack of parts in the U.S. and poor service. Again, this is at the present time and I would assume over the next few years this will be corrected. The driving and style of the van compares to Honda and Toyota; other than that Kia is not in their league. There is a bigger problem and it not under the hood. So before you buy ask yourself how much is inconvenience and poor service worth to you.

I love my new Kia. I traded in a Toyota Sienna because I was unhappy with it. Was looking forward to the Kia and I am so pleased. Nice smooth ride, nice looking car, easy to work all the features and plenty of room for a family of 5 and all our "stuff". We spend most of our time in our car and the Kia makes it fun!
