Great Car To Drive

We love our Kia! The ride is smooth. There's plenty of room for all passengers, front and rear. It is a quiet ride (because it is an all-electric automobile). The panel that shows all of the symbols to control the car's features is the only drawback. It is hard to read and control when you are the driver. It charges on our house power without having to add a 220 volt charging line. It has excellent mileage for us. I'd recommend this car to anyone considering an all electric automobile.

Plus: Great acceleration and handling, Decent passenger room, per driver customization, HUD is pretty cool, preheating car safely inside garage is nice. Cons: No autolock when leaving vehicle. Have to use home assistant to work around this.

So good that the few warts really stand out

Nathan V, 01/06/2025

After 9 months I still love the car. The car is very strong on performance, driving enjoyment, and charging speed. The warts are mostly in little details. The door handles do not pop out and have to be explained to new passengers (I hear this is fixed in 2025). Oddly, the memory seat function is controlled by the infotainment profile rather than the other way around. So changing the infotainment profile also changes the seat and mirror positions. That is exactly backwards. USB ports are nice but the front ones are hard to reach. And there is no auto lock/unlock feature for the doors. The hatch and mirrors both detect that I am close to the car but the door locks do not.

So I really like the EV6. I've driving it about 300 miles, and charged it once. It came with 100% charge.
