2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Consumer Reviews

Big upgrade from my 4Runner
Made the switch from 2013 4Runner (great car and my son now drives it) to Grand Cherokee since no new 4Runners currently for sale and bare bones Land Cruiser was almost 50% more than a Limited GC. Land Cruiser interior is almost all hard plastics—Toyota jacking up prices while going cheaper on materials. Happy with the Jeep so far. It’s got awesome value, great features on the Limited and the UConnect has been great. I’m 6’3” and like that it is nimble to drive but has plenty of room for me (with grown kids I don’t need a 3 row SUV). Mileage so so but that’s been the only con so far; when they upgrade to Hurricane engine that will be fixed. Overall very happy and surprised Jeep doesn’t give the press Limited examples to drive so they can see how great an option it is at the price point. I do wish Jeep would offer 4Lo on Limited package but that’s just a suggestion not a deal breaker. UPDATE: I used to work at the assembly plant where my new Jeep GC was built. So I really wanted to love my new Jeep. But in just seven months it's already been towed to the dealership, spent almost two weeks at the dealership over two visits due to a dead battery and then a misaligned hood rubbing the fender. I'm now battling with the customer care to get the paint damage from the hood resolved. Overall, it's been an extremely disappointing ownership experience. Keep your sanity and buy Toyota/Lexus/Honda/Acura instead of dealing with this. This Jeep has already been in the shop more than my 10+ year old 4Runner and MDX combined! Jeep leadership should be ashamed of themselves.

Summit Reserve, First American Lux SUV Purchase
I was looking to upgrade from my 2019 Volvo XC90 to a new one. Also considered going back to Land Rover, but by chance came across the GC Summit Reserve mentioned in an online review. Took one for a couple of test drives and was pleasantly surprised. 3 things... 1) Ride height is exceptional 2) the interior was unexpected and 3) safety features. I purchased the Summit Reserve given my tastes and prior European SUV purchases and remain satisfied with our purchase as well as excited to drive it each day. It's incredibly comfortable and the Tulepo tan leather is soft. For the price paid, it should have come with a longer warranty like it's competitors and as mentioned to the dealer, they need to step up their facilities with the clientele expectations and experience. However none of that is a show stopper. Not a single issue like with our LR. Very satisfied with my first American luxury SUV.

Wow, what a Jeep!
I just bought a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland to replace a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. I was knocked over by the exterior styling of the Grand Cherokee, so I checked it out and fell in love with in. I really liked my Hyundai, by the way, but the Grand Cherokee looks so much better, inside and out, and it drives like a SUV. I especially like the air shocks because I like to lift the Jeep up for better on-road vision. They also make the ride really smooth! Ventilated seats were a must because my wife's cancer therapy (5 years worth) makes her hot all the time. They are the coolest ventilated seats we found. We also tested a BMW X5, which had decent ventilated seats but not as good as our Jeep. Seat comfort was important to me because I have a pinched nerve in my back and the Grand Cherokee seats are about as good as it gets. The acceleration is good for a heavy SUV and it feels solid on the road. Handles well. The lane assist system is not as good as the Hyundai, which is about the only thing I liked better about it. Well, that's not true. The gas mileage on the Hyundai was about 2 miles per gallon better, but it wasn't a 4-wheel drive. I got a great deal on the Overland trim model. Would definitely buy it again. Very happy customer.

This new Jeep is luxury from top to bottom!
Love the way it handles, has great turning radius. Still getting used to lane assist, and the bigger touch screen.
My very 1st Jeep
I was impressed with a Jeep rental so I bought the GC Limited 4x4. Birds eye view monitor, rear view mirror camera, wireless charger pad, passenger screen, 10.1 center screen and rear seat monitors. Remote start. I just wish it had the heads up display.
