Used 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Consumer Reviews
Look at the safety ratings FIRST
Ma and Pa here! We bought our 2008 Jeep GC Limited with a 3.0L Diesel with 40,000 miles on it. Perfect condition. No issues at all. Loved the sunroof, 4x4 driving on our WA beach, seat warmers helped our arthritis -- then the accident at 104K. Pa driving alone ended up hitting head on with Ford F 250 at 45 mph with no time to break. Totaled our Jeep completely but thank goodness for 5 star safety standards, Pa was stunned by the instant airbag deployment but got out of the door on his own and walked away. To say the least, the vehicle was undriveable, engine smashed to smithereens and transmission was completely disengaged. I was just grateful Pa was alive and uninjured. Much as I loved all the features we had in this rare version of JGC, it was the excellent safety standards that saved a precious life. Life after Land Rovers
Have had 3 Land Rovers (2 Disco, 1 LR3) Had almost bought a Commander before the last Land Rover. I couldn't pass up on the deals this time. Need power to pull my 22' boat and the Hemi makes you forget the boat is still there. The leather is nice, but the plastics in the interior are not as nice as Land Rover. My kids both have the old Cherokees (1999 & 2000) and still love them.

5th Jeep GC
This is our 5th Jeep - and it is far and away the best yet. The ride is vastly improved from the 2004 Overland that we traded in. The noise level has been dramatically reduced. Fit and finish is on a par with the Acura MDX and Toyota Sequoia that we also looked at. The GC, because of dealer incentives, was clearly the best buy. The HEMI, while powerful, is also somewhat thirsty. Mileage so far has hovered around 18 for mixed city/hwy driving.
This Jeep is the best ever
I've had 2 jeeps before this (2004 overland and 2004 limited.) I must say if your looking for vehicles in this class, you have to get this one. It's really nice (wood, wooden steering wheel, leather, and much more. the fastest I've had this SUV up to is 140mph (actual speed) and this car has no governor. In all the Jeeps I've had I have never had one break down.
new 2008 jeep
I have leased this Jeep since mid December of 2007 and overall I am very satisfied with it. Most impressive are the generous incentives for this vehicle and the performance of the 4.7 V8.
