The seats are not comfortable. Water stains the seats, raindrops, sweat, anything. I have had nothing but trouble with this vehicle. It has been in the shop several times for the transmission. I wish I haven't bought this vehicle.

Make sure you do your homework. Jeep is having problems with transmission getting water in it. Took mine in yesterday after an oil change place noticed transmission fluid looked like a strawberry shake. Dealership said that problem is with the A/C condensation leaking into the transmission. They had to flush my transmission over 15 times before it turned to normal. Will pickup in the morning and probably take to another dealer and trade in. Service didn't seem to think that this would cause a problem in the future ... year right! This seems to be a big problem for Jeep on the horizon since they are going to have this problem with Grand Cherokees as well as the 300 since they have same transmission.

Please make sure the transmission is checked before you put your name on paper. They are having problems with water getting into the transmission. I had mine flushed several times and I kept telling them it is not driving right. Of course they say, the computer is not coming up with any codes. Well coming home from two nights ago my transmission went out on a major highway. This is the fourth time that it is in the service dept. I am glad I live in Florida where there is a lemon law.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee: 1. Intermittent Problem: engine fails to crank (happens daily). Tries to turn over but will not. Acts like battery is weak. After waiting and repeatedly trying engine will start, showing no signs of any problem. 2. Intermittent Problem: A/C cuts off and will only work if fan speed setting is changed to high. A/C cuts off repeatedly while driving. 3. Check engine light (orange engine symbol) comes on anytime fuel gauge reaches the ¼ tank level. When light comes on the engine sputters and misses for several minutes. This light will not come on until the fuel tank is filled. 4. When starting engine with A/C on it takes over 30 seconds for air to blow out of the dash

Hate the Electronic Transmission

I've had this vehicle in two times because of the the transmission and I've only had it 7 months. It seems they place the A/C on top to the transmission and when the A/C starts condensing, it drips onto the transmission. If the transmission has not been sealed properly, the vehicle will be sluggish at times. I am afraid of this vehicle and that one day it may bog down too much and just stop when I am trying to merge on to the highway.
