Don't miss my BMW, Love my new Jeep
Traded in a 2021 BMW 5 series for my Grand Cherokee L Summit model. I love the fit and finish, the ride, the looks and everything about the overall vehicle. If I had to find a fault, the infotainment system on the Jeep when compared to my BMW is not as user friendly. The vehicle power also falls short when compared. Other than that I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit. It has been a very reliable to this point. We are considering a second one when the lease is up on our other vehicle which is a BMW X5.

Fine SUV
Real world highway mpg of 26. The V-6 reminds me of the Mercedes GLK 350 with lots of torque. Fit and finish are excellent. Infotainment system is easy to use. Couldn't ask for more.

Wobble Wobble
Comfortable, plenty of room for the grandkids with 7 seats, and smooth, quiet ride. Took some time to get used to the electronics and button controls but good pickup and shifting. Today with 444 miles on it the steering began to vibrate really fast for 5 - 10 seconds and then quit. A few miles later, same thing and it kept on for 20 miles until I got home.

Dangerous Car
This 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee has to be the worst car I ever purchased. It’s been in the shop for the same problem 5 different times. Since I purchased it 6 months ago. The batteries died Twice they claimed they changed them the first time at the dealership but that was a lie. The radio and software never work properly so they changed the radio now the backup camera doesn’t work. You just can’t make this stuff up. When I was driving the car it just slammed on the breaks out of nowhere there was nothing in front of me. Don’t get me started on the key fob’s right out the gate would not open the doors. Had to replace both batteries. After that the car wouldn’t start. Shutting it on and off finally came on. I don’t bring my family in this car because I feel we will all be killed in this car. Working with a lawyer to get my money back and return this car. All I can be careful out there.

Not your Grandpa's Jeep Grand Cherokee
Purchased new from dealer in Texas. Got the V8 with the Overland trim. Engine and transmission are nice, but build quality is very suspect. We've owned a little more than 4 months now. KIN Keyless Ignition Node was faulty a little after 1 month, and Jeep would not start reliably. It left my wife and kids stranded in Omaha, NE while seeing the in-laws. Local dealer performed warranty repair in NE and replaced the KIN. Then, around 3 weeks later, the starter button on dash trim collapsed into the dash. Took it to a dealer in Texas, they ordered the replacement part, and its now been two months with the starter button collapsed down inside of the dash. Still waiting on the replacement part. I just had to send Jeep HQ in Michigan a Texas Lemon Law Notice. Ridiculous. $76,000 MSRP. Buyer Beware!
