Finally a Luxury Jeep
Put a deposit down months ago and finally took delivery last week. Put about 400 miles with a weekend road trip. Was lucky to get one of the last Overland’s with the air suspension and tow package. Cabin and ride are as nice as our Lexus RX. The technology is amazing but does have a bit of a learning curve to figure it all out. Interior storage could be better, and not crazy about all the piano black trim. Scratches way too easily and shows every fingerprint. Overall, very happy with our purchase.

Not so good after all!
We recently purchased the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. When on the test drive everything was great and the apps worked only to find out it was in Demo mode. After we drove away from the dealer some of the apps don't work and the lady that tells you what the speed limit is doesn't work. Not that I really need that but just saying. The Jeep App (black background and white lettering Jeep) isn't fully working because Jeep is merging stuff but in the meantime you can't track your vehicle, you can't see the gas gauge, can't unlock the vehicle and yes the tire pressure doesn't come up either. Also, no timeline from them on when this merge or features will work if ever again. After the purchase we noticed the roof rack trim was wrong;chrome on one side and black on the other side and oh yah the plastic cover over the engine which helps with reducing noise doesn't come with your $60,000 purchase. When calling Jeep there is no support and customer service acts like they have no idea or details or "help" specifically about their products. Pretty unfortunate, great looking vehicle and I do enjoy the ride BUT I paid for the entire package and don't expect less. Jeep needs to stand up to what it promises or I'm sorry to say they won't be any different from the Ford Bronco review they just provided. Update: Yesterday, the radio display screen went black which means the back up camera is no longer working and basically everything else that is controlled through that display panel. Lucky enough Jeep does allow you to see your radio options/channels on the dash (speed display) and are able to use the up/down buttons on the steering wheel. Turns out after waiting at the dealer almost all day finally Star Engineers revealed, "replace the radio". So, now I will wait for the replacement...took delivery about a month ago and not more than 1,000 miles on it. What a way to start out with a "luxury" vehicle!

Most comfortable
This is my third Grand Cherokee since 2011 and this L Overland model is the best so far. I traded a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus for this new Grand Cherokee and have absolutely no regrets. More room, less noise and a smoother ride.
Should have stayed with the Germans!!!
So i was living in Florida and someone took my lease over on my BMW through Swapalease. i knew i was moving back to NJ so figured i would get a large SUV due to my buisness. I also figured let me save money and not try and get another BMW as the prices since Covid are horrible. So i went for the GCL Altitude. i have a few issues. Number 1 the same penstar engine needs more power. The trucks engine is noisy, i also feel the truck can be a a little more solid feeling as well. yes it is comfortable but has alot of bodyroll which im not happy about . i find myself driving in sports mode and downshifting a gear to get to pass somebody. i really am not happy with the decision i made and i may decide to trade it in or sell it. i feel for 50K there are alot more vehicles to choose from and in my opinion better than Jeep.

Maybe a fluke?
Waited for this car for a year. Finally got mine and loved it for the first two days. At 200 miles, I found myself in a dealership in a small town waiting for new piston rocker arms to arrive at the little local jeep dealership. I hope this is a fluke, but I am severely dissatisfied that my brand new car broke down and I am stuck. UPDATE: they fixed my car, but then another major engine problem occurred AGAIN. Totally separate issue and another 2 weeks in the shop waiting for parts. In a month I have driven my new Jeep 6 days. Now I have lost confidence in the car and Chrysler Jeep refuses to replace my car and so does the dealership. About to enter the legal process for lemon law replacement. Buyer beware - new car model, I think they rushed it and even though they say its the same reliable engine and transmission in all grand cherokee's, they wont stand by it. Buyer beware - you might get shafted.
