I traded a Lincokn MKC for the Cherokee Limited L. I am so happy with the look and feel of this vehicle. It has so much power and turns on a dime. The leather seats are top quality. The interior design is the best I've seen in a SUV. This is my first Jeep and I am in love.

System keeps shutting off -update

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Altitude 4dr SUV 4WD (3.6L 6cyl 8A)

I have owned my Jeep Grand Cherokee L altitude for about 1 month now, and have had issues with the computer constantly shutting off AEB, 4WD, blind spot sensors, active lane management, stability control. You name it, it repeatedly turns off and back in while driving. Took it to the dealer, and they are unable to find what is wrong with it. Update- this POS is back at the dealer for the EXACT same issue, plus the transmission not working correctly. Twice now it will not shift from park to drive, and will not shut off. You are basically stranded wherever you are. I was stuck on a bridge for a couple minutes until I finally got the car to shut off, and was able to turn it back on to get off the bridge. The dealer has no idea how to fix the issue. I am so unhappy and will most likely need to lemon law this vehicle if the dealer does not refund. Please stay away. This has been an awful experience and you don’t need to waste your time and money.

Spends most of it's days at the service department

This Jeep looks really cool but it has had so many issues since we bought it. The check engine light came on and it took almost 3 months to fix. Now the power steering randomly fails and has been in the shop for weeks pending a software update to fix the issue. Don't buy this car and maybe don't buy a Jeep, I know we never will again!

So far, so good. I have not experienced any of the issues others have reported. My vehicle wasn’t built until late August, so maybe that’s the difference? I also own a 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited with the Pentastar V6, and have had no issues and am approaching 73k miles, which is why I considered this vehicle along with the Palisade and Telluride. The Grand Cherokee L is quieter, feels roomier, and a bit more upscale. The ride is smooth on the 18” Michelins and performance is what you’d expect from a V-6 in a vehicle this size. Uconnect works very well and moving to the 10 inch screen and upgraded Alpine sound system is very much worth the extra cost. If you are familiar with the Uconnect system, this new system will be very easy to learn. If you are new to Uconnect, this is one of the easier systems to learn. I also own a Lexus with the Enform system, and Uconnect is soooo much easier to navigate. Interior and exterior fit and finish are both great. Safety systems that come with the Limited work very well. Due to the size of the hood, I wish front parking sensors came standard, and this is my only disappointment. It all comes down to personal preference, but definitely keep this one on your short list. 2 and 1/2 years and no issues. Only been in for service for routine maintenance and a couple of recalls. I’m still very happy with this vehicle and recommend it.

Finally a Luxury Jeep

Put a deposit down months ago and finally took delivery last week. Put about 400 miles with a weekend road trip. Was lucky to get one of the last Overland’s with the air suspension and tow package. Cabin and ride are as nice as our Lexus RX. The technology is amazing but does have a bit of a learning curve to figure it all out. Interior storage could be better, and not crazy about all the piano black trim. Scratches way too easily and shows every fingerprint. Overall, very happy with our purchase.
