My family bought this jeep used (2000 cherokee sport 4wd) when I was just a child.. am full grown now. I absolutely love this car so much, it has the classic - boxy - rectangle - goofy look which I adore, something you will never find today. Engine was redone around 200k although it wasn’t needed. Am pushing 270k now and is running as strong as ever. Sure I have spent some money on maintenance here and there, like radiators, hoses, calipers, brakes, etc. but it’s all cheap cause it’s a jeep! The most reliable car I have ever owned, hell its the only car I have ever owned. Was passed down onto me. I laugh at other people and their cars, always having issues and costly repairs. My buddy and I have a joke, that if something goes wrong with a Jeep, just hit it with a hammer and fire her back up, the problem will be magically fixed! Oh how I wish I was kidding. This thing just keeps on pushing. I would buy up all these cherokees if I could, I want them all

I leased this Jeep in Feb. 2000. I must say for the dollar it is a excellent choice. There are a few issues that I have with this vehicle: 1. Eats brakes and rotors on a reguler basis, has been back to jeep once a year for new rotors and pads. 2.Interior space is not on par with other SUV's out there. 3.Drivetrain noise is very high, but I have been told "It is a Jeep, not a Lexus." For the money, Chrysler did a competent job. But for the same money others are doing it better.

This is my 3rd Jeep in 4 years. My parents got a 96 Grand Cherokee Ltd. I fell in love and got a 94 GC Loredo v8. Loved it but bills forced me to sell it. I then got a 94 GC Ltd v8. It drove like a Caddy 4 wheeling. I got talked into a 2000 Cherokee Sport at the dealership. This was the best Jeep yet. 4x4 is way better than the Grands. The only thing I have to complain about is lack of leg room, and no cruise control on my model. Otherwise I recomend to any seriouse 4x4 buyer.

I love my Jeep, it is my third one in about 6 years, my wife and I have two right now and love them both. Reliablity is great, they have never let me down. Use the 4wd lots and you can't stop them in the snow. Would highly suggest them to anybody who needs a rugged SUV.

This jeep will last a long time if u take great care of it. .I got blk alloy rims with serious a/t tires. ...next will be a 3"lift. ..
