2016 QX50 has more room than the earlier versions. More comfortable. Car is brand new but right now very happy. Definitely shop around for the best deal.

I had leased a 2012 FX35 and was very happy with it. When I went to release my next car I would have taken an QX70 hands down. I test drove the QX50 and it is very quick on acceleration but wasn't thrilled with the title comments. The longer I drive it the more those 2 things bother me. I feel like I am falling off the seat and I have only a 32" inseam. I can't imagine if I was taller! The value proposition is poor compared to the others in the segment except for the power and acceleration. The programs changed at Infinity even though the MSRP went up only 2,500 the Monthly payment would have increased 150 per month! Currently I am in a 2016 QX50 for $75 more per month than I was paying for the FX even though the MSRP is about 8,000 less. I can't wait for this lease to be up so I can go into one of the competitors for the same money or less. Lesson learned don't take a car that is quick without kicking the tires. The local dealer I used on Long Island in Suffolk County's service is great but Sales are not so much.

I am amazed at the beauty of the QX50, even 6 years later. Just beautiful with a snug grip to the road. Can’t wait to discover all this vehicles does.

Yes I've read all the negative reviews I have 29,415 on my 2017 all black with the 19-in wheels. The engine has dual intake runners and unfortunately requires two air cleaners. This motor is pure heaven except for the gas mileage. Believe it or not my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a V8 engine and 270 horsepower gets the exact same mileage on the freeway as this infinity. With the cruise control set I get exactly 21 mpg. The big infinity does better in town than the Jeep. The Jeep gets about 14 miles to the gallon in San Francisco traffic. The infinity gets about I want to say 17 maybe? Who cares I have a garage for both and there they shall remain. I don't have a family so this is kind of like my sporty car. That is I don't trust parking this car in a big parking structure near my office. So the Jeep usually gets driven at least once a week. Back to this car so what if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. I have a company iPhone and I was shocked to see that it actually displays album cover art but only with the iPhone not with my pixel 3. The 2017 infiniti's QX50 was the last to be made in Japan. And the quality simply shows in the Jewel like assembly. The biggest increase in performance handling was upgrading those horrible factory Bridgestone potenzas which cornered like garbage and in just the body roll was out of control on this car. I just put on Michelin the pilot GT the top of the line performance tire which is the asymmetric tread. My god this car corners! I couldn't believe it is like a different car It literally snaps into hairpin turns and sticks. That all wheel drive is earning its keep. I'm still learning about this car as I go along but you can leave it in DS position on the gear shift that is and then it is actually your sport mode. So it's like sport automatic DS mode. And I turn the tractor control off it's a little button under the dash. Unfortunately it drinks premium fuel but who cares right I drove it to Las Vegas 10 hours and I only had the gas it up once each way the 20-gallon tank is nice. As for the beats I tried putting a subwoofer in but it really messes with the Bose acoustics so I removed it. It was a blowpunk not a cheap powered sub but it sounded horrible. If you listen to rock this radio is not the best however. Put on some DJ magic Mike and feel the bass this car actually beats it has some thump but you have to listen to hip hop to realize it. Rock just kind of lays there I use a built-in Spotify equalizer to handle any acoustical imperfections otherwise I have no complaints zero visits to the shop for anything. The motor has just been marvelous It gets you up to a hundred miles an hour in no time. I'm not sure what Infinity was thinking with the auto assist fold down rear seats. If you're a 6-ft plus driver inevitably the position of your seat will hinder the complete lowering of the backrests that is the headrests will bump into the back of The driver and passenger seats requiring a trip to the passenger driver compartment to manipulate the seats to allow them to come down all the way same with folding them up It looks cool but it really doesn't work Even a stray napkin will prevent them from seating properly I think I've used it once? Yeah this is a true high performance made in Japan opportunity if you can still find one. There's no room for anything in the front. I went on some automotive website and purchased these me sh adhesive backed pockets which on both the driver and passenger side I have fixed parallel with the shift knob so you got room to at least slip your cell phone in there and your friends as well. The glove box is a joke The owner's manual barely fits and I can't fit a screwdriver in there It's funny it's it's what are they thinking. The center console is tiny Well they place the USB outlet in there behind the USB outlet there's at least an square foot of usable space that they neglect to utilize What were they thinking on that. Otherwise the center console is pure heaven. If you fold the drink cup holder down it lowers and is flush with the main console storage compartment and it looks like one piece although it's not it's three separate very well fitting pieces It's just beautifully made and fantastic attention to detail. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but I'm a simple man and I don't like all that stuff. The illuminated Infinity logo that shines down on the sidewalk adjacent to the courtesy lights is pretty cool I never even knew this car had that feature which you can select in the comfort menu.
