2024 Santa Fe Limited: Great Quality and Value

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited 4dr SUV (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 8AM)

I recently purchased a new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited. The design is all new--it may take some getting used to, but the quality inside and out seems to be excellent. The 2.5 liter turbo is very peppy; the vehicle handles well and rides nicely. The 5 year warranty is great. If you are in the market for an SUV, you really should check out the 2024 Santa Fe.

2024 Santa Fe --Infotainment not user friendly

The car rides and handles very well. I have no complaints. I was especially surprised to experience the pickup of a 4-cylinder turbo engine. I did not expect such smooth and prompt acceleration to be exhibited by a 4-cylinder engine. My biggest complaint is with the infotainment. I don't think this is a unique issue with the Santa Fe model, but likely with all newer car models--packed with so many options that have proven burdensome to master. The upfront investment in time to learn all the electronic bells and whistles incorporated into the infotainment display becomes an exercise in frustration. I suspect that geeks developed the infotainment without pondering the need for it to be customer-friendly -- meaning, easy to use.

Clear open windsheid view starts the list of best featureds , all around cameras and sensors , great dash board clear easy to use, roomy for my 6ft 3 inch self in the 3rd row not just in the front seats. Smooth quite ride , great feel behind the wheel with handling and acceleration .

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 8AM)

We bought our 2024 XRT in June of 2024. We loved everything about the car until September... The first issue we had was after my wife remotely started the car. Her Sante Fe lunged forward with nobody in the car while my 4 year old daughter was 3 feet from the front end of the vehicle while walking around to get in. The car was scheduled for a dealership visit to remedy this after a recall due to the WRONG code being put into the vehicle's computer system during manufacturing. I will admit that problem has not occurred since. However, that was the first of many problems. In September, shortly after a dealership visit for an oil change and recall repairs, our car became completely unreliable. It went haywire with every dash light on, power steering loss and the car would not turn off. The dealership had to call a tow truck to pick it up. They gave us the run around for a couple months before saying it was fixed in late November. We pick up the car and 48 hours later... Same issue. The car went back to the shop and as Christmas approached I reached out to the loaner department to let them know I needed a 4 wheel drive vehicle as that is what we purchased. We had a trip to Iowa to see family and wanted the 4x4 in case of snowy roads. They informed me that loaners were not supposed to leave the state. I asked to speak with a manager at this point and shortly after this, I received a call that our car was ready. Obviously, I was skeptical and asked to speak to the GM as I didn't trust taking that car on a 1,000 mile+ plus journey immediately after it's been in the shop for 3 months. Thankfully(so I thought) the GM made an exception and gave us a brand new 2025 Sante Fe XRT as a loaner to take to Iowa. Unfortunately that car broke down on the way to Iowa. The dealership rented us a vehicle to finish our trip and come back home in. Upon returning home, we picked up our car. We were able to drive it about 5 weeks before the same problem happened again and then again a couple weeks later and again a couple weeks after that. Each time the dealership told us the car was fixed. We have now owned the car for 9 months and we have had the car in drivable condition for approximately half of that time. We have taken steps towards a lemon law claim through Hyundai. Unfortunately, they have told us that we do not qualify. Additionally, the mentioned the possibility of Hyundai buying the car back in an act of good faith. Apparently they do not believe we deserve that either. We have spend countless hours and money on fuel dealing with this mess. In total we have been in 6 different loaner vehicles. Every time we go to the dealership is a minimum of 3 hours of our time wasted when you include our drive time to and from the dealership. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI!
