Car had trouble charging its miniature battery... which lead to the car stopping itself completely and leaving me stranded. Fixed the issue, came up 5 times after that in the exact same way, throwing different codes each time. Top of that, suspension is built out of plastic straws and feels like an inflatable boat on crack. Throttle response is about 10 business days and the only reason someone would buy this car is because they read the brochure and got pressured into signing a contract.

We love everything about our 2021 Santa Fe Hybrid. Just missing, and wish the SEL model had memory seat settings and ventilated seats!

Bought this vehicle brand new in 2021, and 6 months later it is in the shop for a recall on the coolant system. 4.5 years later, there are still issues with the coolant system that Hyundai claims dont exist. My check engine light comes on and goes off a couple times a month, and no matter what the dealership does, or says they do, it doesn't fix the issue. The parking brake comes on just about every time I throw my car in park, even if I'm on level ground. The sensors that warn you if cars are coming slam on my brakes when there is nothing there.. but, it does nothing if pedestrians are around.. and if I turn the car off with the windshield wipers on, when I turn the car back on, the rear wiper automatically turns on and won't turn off until I turn the front wipers off and restart my car. The only good thing I can say about this vehicle is the size is great. My rear facing car seat fits very well in the spacious back seat, and the trunk space is very large. Two must haves for me and one of the only reasons I'm still driving the nuisance. The second reason i still own it is because the engine light isnt ever off long enough to trade it in. I will never buy this brand again, and really.. I dont plan on buying anything other than domestic anymore. All because of my experience with this car and it's incompetent company.
