I've had my car for 12 months now. I drove a BMW X2 and Audi A3 before the purchase-the turbo Kona was close to the performance of these two at a third lower price. I purchased the top of the line Ultimate that has the turbo and upgraded entertainment system. I would recommend that over the base models.Every thing works well, and I'm averaging 29 mpg in town and 34 on trips-much higher than the gov't ratings. Check out the warranty-best in the business. Of course, if you want to throw 15 grand away, go ahead and get that Beemer!

Great reliable vehicle! Had a Sante Fe for 17 years no major issues with it. Went smaller and best decision I ever made!

The Ultimate has all the buttons. But not one to open the trunk, which is manual opening only. No adaptive cruise control. It has a wireless phone charger, but no wireless CarPlay, so it’s useless unless the iPhone is plugged in. Engine is a blast, but poor mileage about 20 mpg average. Best not to punch it if the wheel is not straight, torque steer is very strong. The road noise and rumbling denote it’s a cheap chassis with lots of stuff added for the rich Americans. Interior smells cheap, and oh my, it actually is!

The vehicle gets great safety ratings in crash tests, and can be had with amazing safety features, e.g. lane keeping, blind spot warning, back up warnings, assisted emergency stopping.
