I bought a Huyndai Genesis here at North freeway Hyundai and I've only had it for 2 days. I noticed a noise on the breaks, took it to my mechanic, he said the calipers needed adjustment, well I brought it in to get diagnosed, the service tech Edwin looked at it and argued the noise came from inside the car, I asked him to go outside and listen to the noise on the wheels, he said ok, took it to fix and brought it back worse, he said it was fixed, I showed the noise again and said ok, I know what it is and I been here since 9.30am this morning, its 1.30pm and nothing yet. Horrible service, just badly incompetente people. Im just very sad that I have to tell them what to fix, how to fix it, what if I didn't know? Why dont they check it before telling me its ready? Why arent competent techs hired? Today is 8/10/20 and my car has been a bundle of issues, now its out of warranty and the issues continue, I was sold a lemon car, be very careful when buying cars from this place, they don't check them, mine has had and still has many issues, not its out of warranty, the Hyundai Genesis is just a car full of issues after issues, nice car and all, but all of the issues will make you regret ever buying Hyundai, and I din't want to buy the Jaguar because if the issues and here I am.

Regardless of your preference , test drive the Genesis. We needed to replace our Cad. DTS, and test drove Audi,BMW,CT6 ( what a joke) Jag. Then on a whim we took a test ride in Genesis. It has exceptional fit and finish, is ultra quiet, handles very well ( Have older BMW CONV. for summer ), and is loaded. Wife and I both like it, and it looks great too. Just 4000 miles but it is as solid as BMW.

I love my Genesis! Great for long distance driving and daily commute. Descent miles per gallon using 87 octane gas. Great safety features, high quality interiors, and solid ride. 10 years bumper-bumper & 20 years power train warranty. Love the LED display, sound system, and having ac/heat option - front & rear seats.

Bought a used Genesis 3.8 AWD with 98,000 miles. I found it to be over all comfortable until a year later and 110,000 miles on the clock: One day driving in the freeway the steering wheel all the sudden became stiff and I had to pull the car to the side with a lot of force. I turn off the engine and started again and it was good again. This started to gradually become worse and worse and you understand very dangerous until I took it to Denis Hyundai in Columbus Ohio. There they looked at it and pointed out that car is in need of Steering rack. Price tag: $6,700. I talked to them with no result so, I called the headquarter in California, To make it short they didn't even wanted to call me back and after a few time they said they are not able to do anything for me.

This is a great luxury sedan and we have enjoyed it from day one. Solid, heavy, and safe! The 3.8 AWD tracks with the best of the high-end German autos, I also owned an Audi S8 and, yes I would rather drive the S8, however when you compare the cost of purchase and repair the Genesis is difficult to beat. Highly recommend, short of having the budget for and S8 or equivalent.
