Love my Genesis, but have two (minor) issues

I bought the 3.8 with the Signature and Tech packages, plus AWD, since I'll be driving in snowy mountains in the winter. I've had it for 3 months now, and absolutely love it. I'm amazed at how much value the Genesis offers. Unless you really need superior "racing" performance, it can go toe-to-toe with BWM, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, etc., but for $10K-$12K less. I wouldn't say those brands are in trouble, but they are definitely under attack.

The new genesis is a pleasure to Drive, the lexicion surround sound is over the Top. Best car for the quality and Money Period! The technology in this Car is Amazing.

The Genesis is awesome in many ways. Safety, design, comfort....the list goes on and on. Test drive and you'll see. If you want to eliminate the negotiations part of it go to north county Hyundai. By far the quickest to get to a fair price without the hassles and common practices a dealership will put you thru. I spoke to 15 dealerships and it only took them 15 minutes before I felt comfortable giving them my credit information. That's what you call getting down to business.

I bought a Huyndai Genesis here at North freeway Hyundai and I've only had it for 2 days. I noticed a noise on the breaks, took it to my mechanic, he said the calipers needed adjustment, well I brought it in to get diagnosed, the service tech Edwin looked at it and argued the noise came from inside the car, I asked him to go outside and listen to the noise on the wheels, he said ok, took it to fix and brought it back worse, he said it was fixed, I showed the noise again and said ok, I know what it is and I been here since 9.30am this morning, its 1.30pm and nothing yet. Horrible service, just badly incompetente people. Im just very sad that I have to tell them what to fix, how to fix it, what if I didn't know? Why dont they check it before telling me its ready? Why arent competent techs hired? Today is 8/10/20 and my car has been a bundle of issues, now its out of warranty and the issues continue, I was sold a lemon car, be very careful when buying cars from this place, they don't check them, mine has had and still has many issues, not its out of warranty, the Hyundai Genesis is just a car full of issues after issues, nice car and all, but all of the issues will make you regret ever buying Hyundai, and I din't want to buy the Jaguar because if the issues and here I am.

It only requires a positioning mission statement from sales and then ...the Test Drive. If the driver has done his research..the Test Drive Closes the Deal....Period. If the prospect will just get over the BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Lexus ego trip over brand badging, and just test drive the car.....it is ALL OVER. The car is virtually flawless, and the Sales/Service committment is world class. Never been happier with a car till now. Hyundai is totally committed on this Genesis and am proud to be in on the new model 3.8 Genesis. No better value even close to this car!
