Used 2013 Hyundai Elantra Consumer Reviews
It’s a good car, but not the best!
First time buyer, so my options were scarce. I chose the elantra because it looked a littlw “sportier” than the others I was shown. Well it’s obviously is NOT a sports car, but that doesn’t mean it should take forever to switch from 45 to 60 on the freeway. The acceleration and gas mileage are my two biggest issues. It takes forever to accelerate nearly causing accidents on freeway ramps. The gas mileage SUCKS! I’ll be lucky if I even hit 30 MPG going mainly 60 on the highway. For being a 4cyl, the amount of $$ spent on gas is ridiculous. I can fill up with $30 on a sunday night and drive to and from work (50 miles roundtrip) and by Wednesday it will be at half a tank or less. It’s crazy! Other than that the car is reliable, and I haven’t had any other issues whatsoever. It’s not the worst, but I definitely am not impressed by it after 2 1/2 years. Can’t wait to upgrade!

Horrible car
I bought the limited 2013 brand new and it has had problems from day. Not to mention they lied about the MPG, and now there is a recall for the car. Also when you step on the brakes hard the whole car sounds like its about to fall apart. Stay away from Hyundai's they are not what they used to be. THey are having problems with all of their cars now. You will see massive recalls and their business will go down. THey are pushing leases now so people dont realize what junk they bought.

Hyundia sucks. and has the lowest resale value of any car i have owned
Hyundai marketed the Elantra at 40 MPG'S> when In reality it gets about 35 MPG"S. I bought a 2012 Elantra based on the 40 MPG"S quoted. this car was suppose to save me up to $120.00 a month in gas. my last car cost me $58.00 a week to drive and so dose the Elantra. it is uncomfortable loud poor handeling. and has a poor stereo system. you can also find other poor reviews on Edmondson.com. facebook, and other sites just type in Elantra reviews.. Hyundai compairs the Elnatra to the Honda Civic. at a higher price tag than the civic. after resently driving other cars I found the elantra to be in a lower class such as the Mazda 3. the Corolla. and the Dodge Dart at about $16,000.00 which is a
The car is a bad joke - stop buying Hyundai until they get serious
1. It's rated well by Consumer Reports. 2. Looking good inside and out doesn't make for a quality car. 3. I feel ripped off and I did my research. I'm currently looking to trade it in with @1100 mi. 4. I shouldn't have purchased the vehicle...
BEWARE!
