Great car, will buy again! A lot of features for the money, comfortable. Spacious, fuel economy, and reliability has been key points to owning the car.

This car is a beast
I bought this car (manual transmission!) in November of 2011 and don't think I could have made a better choice. Bought in Cincinnati and immediately put a towing package on it and pulled a loaded 4'x8' covered trailer down to Houston, where I worked. That job lasted 9 months, then I did the same thing back to Cincy. More than once I went about 20k before changing oil. Have taken it on rough dirt roads many times in the Red River Gorge, UP of Michigan in the middle of winter, and Appalachian mountains. Think I have changed the air filter 2-3 times (cleaned it a few more). I have pulled 6'x12' trailers loaded HIGH with tree brush and wood to the point where other drivers just laughed at me. I replaced the transmission around 200k miles probably due to the fact I used it like a truck, had the clutch master cylinder replaced, and done more minor repairs myself like rotors, hubs, and spark plugs. I am now at over 230k miles and the check engine light has NEVER come on. This is the Marshawn Lynch of sedans. BEAST MODE

Can't go wrong
Have had car since 2012 bought used 12,384 miles on it. Now have 106k miles with no major repairs other then new tires. Followed maintenance 38 mpg on highway, 31 in town. With mpg rebate each year a bonus. Only thing is highway tire noise.

Navigation updates are not free
Extremely disappointed with Hyundai. So when I bought my car and paid cash the salesperson told me the navigation updates were free. Just contact bluelink or bring it back to the dealership and they would do the updates. Up until this point I have loved my car. Trying to get a map update has been a horrible experience and now I am being told that the "free" update that I am supposed to have will now cost me $169 if I do it myself and more if I have the dealership do it for me. Why buy a car with a navigation system if you get jerked around with getting the updates. The car is a 2012 which is a year before bluelink was available in that particular model. My next car will definitely NOT be a Hyundai.

It's a great car for the money
I just baught the Elantra, January 24th. Reading the review's about the MPG's, I have to say that even when I drove this car for the first week, I was getting about <25> MPG. the car had 35 miles on it.. The MPG's have been getting better since the first tank of gas. first tank fill, I got 30 MPG's.MY second fill, I got 31.4 Mpgs. this is driving HWY and City.. The first tank i have gone 274 miles, on 9.9 Gallons. 2nd tank I've gone 308.5 mile on 10.3 gallons, 3rd tank I've gone 336.2 miles on 10.7 gallons. The computer Avg showed 33.1. Actual calculated, is 31.4. by dividing the miles to the gallons filled.. The computer is about 2 MPG's high. I will continue with up dates on the MPG's
