This truck is fantastic. It has a very comfortable ride. It handles well. It is truly what a utility vehicle was meant to be. And it is a Honda. Enough said.

This is the truck for 95% of Americans

Unless you are a serious off-roader or haul an RV the size of a double-wide, this is the truck for you. It is roomy, comfortable and a joy to drive. My Ridgeline has all of the comfort of a well appointed SUV and still is more than capable of hauling the occasional load of 4x8 sheets of plywood - laying flat in the bed. The hidden lockable, watertight "trunk" below the bed is worth the price of admission, alone. I use it for storing all sorts of stuff, such as a couple of folding chairs, a air pump, bungee cords and a bunch of other stuff that's handy to have but rarely used.

2019 Ridgeline 18,000 mi underestimated

Things I tell people who ask me about my Truck. I am 72yrs old. I say its easy to get in and out, I love my power, I love my mpg My wife and I went into Canada from California with camping gear weight of 300 pounds in bed. I mostly got 28 mpg outside of California. I love my trunk in bed, Its wonderful but I have one problem with it, when I have tailgate open, I wish it had a stylish safety light when it is open, I am always worried when I am in trunk someone could back into me and hit tailgate or crush me. I have never have a problem really with hauling things , plywood, insulation, garden in bed yet. The ride is smooth, back door doesn't open far enough. My update is at 28,000mi The summer of 2020 I towed a 20' Gulf Stream Conquest empty weight, 3200 lbs, travel weight of 3500 lbs from Bay Area,Ca to Reno, then Crescent City,Ca. My mpg was as low as 9 and as high as 21mpg. It handle beautifully, never short on power. I have to make appointment with Honda for a whine sound in transmission, you can barely hear the whine. I did have trouble finding tow mirrors. I did extend my opening of the rear doors, I ordered front door stops and put them on the rear doors and they worked out great and easy to do for most people, I learn how to do it on you tube. I am getting 18 to 19mpg in with no trailer. I still love my Ridgeline.

What a ride - wife in the front seat, two Jack Russells in the back seat, and this truck performed flawlessly with quietness, great handling, and incredible fuel economy - all on many 80 MPH Highways! A great trip, and even better ride! Much-much better that my 2017 Toyota Limited Tacoma. As full disclosure - I did upgrade to a $2000 Pioneer sound system that offered a huge difference in sound quality. 14,500 miles in odometer now, this truck has been flawless!

The Swiss Army knife of small pick up trucks!

I’ve driven this truck for six months now, more or less and it's ok for what I use it for and it does have some pluses, and yes it's still the swiss army knife of small trucks but in the six months of driving it I have found some things they need to improve on. The infotainment system is horrible, it is past horrible I cannot believe someone actually designed this system and placed it on a vehicle but they did and we have it and there you go. Also, Honda spend a few bucks a put an owners manual in the vehicle that is not a one size fits all vehicles you pretty much make, that's just stupid. I've got three new vehicles and they're the only manufacturer who feels it needs to do this. Also, we live in the 21st century make the remote start available on your phone. Upgrade the camera system. There are so many neat things on the little truck that the simple things mentioned above could put it so far above other small trucks well it would be moved from a good little truck to a great little truck.
