Honda Ridgeline
Great--fuel efficient, interior quiet--minimal road noise, room interior, great bed liner, modern look.
Design Flaw
I looked at every mid size truck out there. Really wanted to buy the 2019 Ridgeline due to the best safety ratings, technology, comfort and style. I found that the Ridgeline had a very weird design flaw compared to all other mid-size trucks... the second row doors do not open fully. In fact, they hardly open a full three fourth of the way. So strange that they market being able to put a bike, snowboard, etc on the floor of the second row, yet you can't even fit it through the door! It would have been so easy to have just made the hinges longer to get a full opening on the second row doors like the front, yet every year I have checked it's still the same. Also, shouldn't have to spend 4k more in the trim to get the blind spot technology. This stuff should be standard now.

! Month review
Could not rate some categories like 'Reliability' due to lack of mileage/use in less than one month. However, at this point I can say I have absolutely no problems with the vehicle thus far. The ONLY disappointment I have is that the radio stops functioning upon shutting the engine off; most vehicles go into an 'Accessory' mode when the ignition is turned off (i.e., leaving the radio on). To get the radio back on one must push the 'Start Engine' button twice and then it takes about 15 seconds for the radio to come back on. This is a very small but important gripe, I'm sure there is an easy software fix.

Almost a great Puck-up
I was ready to purchase the Black Edition of the Ridgeline but after test driving I decided to wait for the updated model which hopefully improved would become available at the end of 2018. It is a very noce car, if somebody likes Honda Pilot will like the Ridgeline even though Honda decided to make the latter model more up to competition, e.g., infortainment system, available in higher trims ventilated seats. It looks like Honda uses the old program for navigation, old graphics and the enterem system is not fast, I’d say is slow responsing and iritating. I am a tall guy, 6’3” to be precise rather normally build but I am pręty sure that ever driver over 6’ tall would have some kind of problem with the leg room which is the smallest among ALL PICK-UPS. When you offer leather as the only option for your seats in the two highest trims and you have to get them if you like the full range of safety features and asking for these trims (RTL-E and Black Edition) over $40G Honda unlikly in Canada is not offering the ventilated seats. I just believe that in Chicago and other even hotter parts of the centry this feature would be greatly appreciated. The info needs not only software updates but two phisical knobs, one for valume and another for changing what would make operating this system easier. The back benchmark is OK for the Short trip but putting there two kids for a long trip is like looking for a big problem and the kids should not be blame for it. The last issue I have with this smoothly moving vehicle is as somebody mentioned this before, the tailgate is as Honda proudly called double action taigate but why it is not lockable, why the owner is not able to secure his cargo, why there is not locking mechanizm? I Honda Files this not big but bothering me problems the Black Edition would become my everyday boddy.

Fantastic but begs to have bigger tires/lift
I lifted it two inches and put bigger tires which made it look badass. I got the loaded truck but I’d get the base model if doing it again and just add the lift and tires. The techno gizmos aren’t worth it.pulls a bass boat with ease. Best tailgate and rear storage out there!! Add a can of sea foam every other fillup and you’ll get 2-4 more mpg! this is the best truck i have ever owned. I've had f150s, ram 1500s, chevy 1500s, 3/4 tons, one tons and many different brands, but his honda is the best overall truck i ever had. best ride best storage easy to drive and park. its a great all around truck as long as you dont need to pull a heavy load etc. it pulls a bass boat fine. can't go wrong with this truck!!!!
