Recommended Honda HRV
The only real issue I have had is the center console lid spring broke twice and Fischer Honda ordered an entire assembly replacement and so far so good. Other than that, the HRV rides great; handles good and has been reliable with no real issues. I have a little over 18000 miles on the car and it still running fine for me. I would definitely remcommend Honda weather built in Mexico or Japan or even the U.S.

overall great car but
still very happy after 10 with my car i don't need anything super fast, enjoy the comfort, visibility and safety features, fuel economy is very good minor annoyances are center console storage and layout, poor quality floor mats and the exterior paint seems to scratch easily though i have have put a sealant which has seemed to help performance in winter was amazing though i did add snow tires to enhance the AWD due to the insane hill i live on, traction and performance in inclement weather was flawless. my parents took an HRV FWD for a test drive in Fla and brought it home the same day they love to drive the car and feel as i do that it is just a fun car to drive.

Sporty and Fun
I have had this vehicle since Sept. 26, 2015. I bought the 2016 EX model as it has some of the latest technology. Sunroof, large screen with practical instant information. I've had the car over 2 years now and still pleased with performance and handling and have to admit it's all I need. I like that this is a Crossover. I enjoy the HR-V for handling and easy entry and exit. I would have preferred leather seats but purchased covers which match the interior and keep the seats clean. I use my smart phone for navigation so I felt I did not need the next model up just to get leather and navigation. Lots of features on this little beauty. Smooth ride and comfortable seats. They could put better quality carpeting but this is a minor distraction. I thought the engine could be a little bigger for more power but I have to admit whether in the city or on the highway this is all the power I need. I understand that this is a popular vehicle and I heard sales have doubled since Honda offered it for sale a good 2 years ago will be a very successful addition to Honda's fleet. I will be driving mine for many years to come. One other note - overall when is Honda going to provide us with a more insulation to provide a quiet cabin like Ford does. That is my only negative with Honda auto's, well at least the CR-V and HR-V

Excellent
I changed jobs and now driving 30 miles each way. I am averaging 35 mph on the highway. This car has been extremely fun and comfortable. My mileage around town is averaging 30-35 mph. This car has been a truly cost saver for me over our other car, a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited.

2016 Honda HR-V
5 years after my purchase I still am happy with my decision. No out of pocket expenses aside from normal maintenance- Had to replace a rear strut and moonroof motor under the warranty (which is now over) This thing deserves a turbo engine. Period.
