Not a race car. zero to sixty in two weeks. Great economy is gained by giving up power. Not real comfortable for long trips, an hour or more, electronics hard to work, you have to hit the screen with much pressure to make it work. other than that the HRV is a decent car even though it's feel is not the usual Honda quality feel and if this is your first new Honda, you will probably like it. This is my 16th New Honda since 89 so I expect a lot from Honda and this one ranks low for me. Maybe because it was assembled in Mexico.

HR-V needs to grow
If you're more than average-size this vehicle is not for you. I did enjoy every aspect of the the car as far as performance, look and technology. The space for even the driver is on the smaller side and my wife who has long legs felt that her knees were practically in her face. love it but needs more room. (Felt the same about the CR-V, also.

Really Uncomfortable Driver Seat!!!
The car itself is great. What you will realize after driving for a while is that the seat will cause back pain. It is because the seat tips backward a bit. No matter how you adjust it, it will be uncomfortable. If you like sitting up straight - don't buy this car.

Unreliable
My car is not even 8 years old with 100,000 miles. Out of nowhere, with no warning sign, the transmission died on me. Now they want $8,000 to repair it (on a car that is now worth not even $9,000). My car is barely outside of the warranty zone to get the new transmission for free. It’s like the moment I went over the warranty in mileage it broke. Honda would not help me or show any sympathy. I thought Hondas were supposed to drive a lot longer than 8 years. This was extremely disappointing and now I have to purchase a new car. I will not be purchasing from Honda again.
