Used 2006 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
More than a little disappointed
Many more rattles than I figured from the highly "Acclaimed" Honda. Velor interior starts showing wear at less than 10,000 Mi. Right now, I'm sorry I bought it. Don't think I'd buy another Honda. We'll see how well the dealership stands behind it.
Great car, not great mileage!
I bought this car thinking I was going to get 30mpg average, but I was wrong. I get 23-25 and to me I was only saving really little on gas. I love the car overall; the quality, the smoothness, the features, the power and performance. I mean for 30-33k I think I could of gotten the other accords and saved money and gas. They made the build (exterior) look the same and you really have to drive that car really really slow to even get 25-30 mpg. I am upset for them to even advertised 38 mpg because I have never gotten that good of a mileage driving smooth and slow.

Best car I have owned
Bought the my Accord in 2009 with 30k miles, it now has 134k miles. I use it to commute to work. I have never had to do any work other the maintenance. Its fun to drive and gets great mpg. I bought my car from a dealership and its lowered. I love the look and style. Roomy interior to par. I have 2 more payments till its paid for. I'm seriously debating to buy another newer Acura or just keep driving this one.
Reliable commuter car
The car is very reliable with great fuel economy for a midsize, but the finish out is cheap. Glove compartment drawer rattles and there is rattle from trunk lid. I've learned to live with it, instead of taking it into the shop. Driver door handle faux metal finish flaked off within the first 10,000 miles (replaced - no charge). The seat heaters only heat the seat and not the lumbar/lower back. Seats are not made for long trips (3+ hours) without a stretch break. Finish out is the biggest negative and almost enough to trading-in or sell an otherwise reliable vehicle.
a true sleeper
Bought a 2006 hybrid with nav as cpo for about half new retail price when it had 47k on the clock. Now close to 80k with zero problems, no repairs. no rattles. Consistent 40 mpg on freeway if driven below 72mph. very comfortable and powerful. hard to beat. I have owned 9 Honda/Acura cars and this one beats them all without question.
