Hybrid Not as Good as Expected
I now have 8,000 miles on my Accord Hybrid. The mileage claims are extremely optimistic. I live in Wisconsin and in cold weather you will be lucky to get 30 MPG in city driving. In the summer on highway driving you can get into the middle 40's MPG. I have never seen 50 MPG and my Accord is always in the eco-mode. It has also left me stranded once in the winter as it would not start due to the cold. I am also having issues with the paint chipping. This was no surprise as the paint quality on Hondas has gone down a lot in recent years. Overall it is not worth the extra money over a regular Acord.
Love the hynrid!
We've put on 100,000+ miles in just over four years -- normal service, no problems (except for a few extra flat tires). Only three drawbacks: (1) Speed control is sluggish and doesn't respond right away; (2) trunk space is pretty small; and (3) no full-size spare tire. We will be buying a new Honda Accord Hybrid soon.

Running great at 224,000 miles
Don't worry about the battery dying on you. I have one of the highest mileage ones out there at 224k and the battery is in great health. I can easily crack 50 MPG on ~60 MPH roads in a very hilly area. Meanwhile, my mom's Ford Fusion hybrid averaged 42 MPG its entire life before its engine blew (with perfect maintenance) just over 150k miles. Though it was reliable until then, I think the Honda wins!

Ok Car
43MPG.. 12 months of driving. Very poor pickup ( even compared to other Hybrid). No so fun to drive. Not worth the extra cost. After few years of driving, the avg MPG is now 38!.. its gone down significantly after 3 year.

Everything good but rear windshield
I am happy for what I picked especially the mpg about average over 44 mpg for my first tank of gas. For all Accord hybrid: Please pay attention to your rear windshield, Have you see any object or image of waviness, curving around like you are in a steamy hot desert???? My Honda service manager, advisor all seems happen only on Hybrid. Honda won't do nothing if you all don't complaint it. I can't see ant straight line behind me!!!!!
