2003 was a better yr
no guts , this truck is a pig on fuel . can't get out of it's own way . i was passed by a trailblazer pulling a horse trailer , going up a mountain !!!!!! please i will take my AVALANCHE BACK NOW PLEASE!!!!!!
Better than 1997
After owning a 1997 Yukon, I was not sure much could be improved. But our new 2004 is amazing. Interior comfort and appointment is so much better. Exterior styling is outstanding. The new 17" wheels are a great add-on. The ability to get a sunroof and DVD (not available in 2003) is worth the extra expense of a 2004 model. Turning radius is beyond belief. You can actually park the Yukon in a normal parking lot. Gas mileage is about the same (18/15) and reliability is not yet known. There's no denying....2004 Yukon beats Expedition, Sequoia and any other full- size SUV.

Great SUV
I purchased this SUV with 2 miles on it. It has been a great car so far, we have driven on several long trips; using the third row as a sleeping area. When using the K&N air-filter in the winter sent two error codes to the computer. I switch back to the original filter and the check engin light went out. Great SUV rides great and looks great going down the road. Went through two set of tires before I foung out it was out of line. Dealer told me they just had to torque the torque bar
Yukon " The only one"
I have had many cars and suvs. This Yukon seems to be the best one I have had yet. It is extremely comfortable and super quite on the road. It has plenty of room> I am a parent of twins and can fit all their things plus other passengers. It is overall just a great vechicle. Really fun to drive. Highly recommended.
Not Professionial Grade
A nice one to look at, but the squeaks and rattles are horrible. My transfer case bearings went bad at 40k miles, coolant leaks were due to bad factory hose clamps,The bearing issue is a known problem that should be recalled. Poor build quality. Dealer did not have bearing bearing is stock. Pathetic for a $53K Vehicle. My next will be a Toyota. If youare considering a Yukon, buy an extended warranty!
