Awesome lines with amazing comfort and luxury. UPDATE: Traded in my wife's Infiniti for a GV70 Advance. Excellent ride with a lot of advanced technology. It also looks great a gets a lot of attention. Luxurious interior with more than enough space for 4.

I started my vehicle search with trusted professional reviews I saw online and was very happy I made the decision to purchase the GV70. I got the sport model pkg which looks super cool and, humorously, it gets a lot of looks from people trying to figure out what the make of this car is. It also has the many safety features I wanted and it sure keeps me in line. Fun to drive and very fast with 4 Cyl. Turbo and nice wheels. Can’t see how you can go wrong between classy looks and great warrantee. I recently scheduled service with the dealership and the service writer was super helpful and I felt like a VIP. Take it for a drive before you go for the standard luxury vehicles you know. You might be just as surprised, as I was.

Best Car I've ever driven

When I made the decision to buy a compact luxury car, I cam to this edmunds.com to check the rankings as I always do prior to purchasing. To my surprise I saw a Genesis GV70 as the best in this class on here. I wasnt sure how a car like that beats out the GLC, Q5, NX, X3 and RDX for that spot. My curiosity led me to test drive all of these cars. Over a period of 1 month I drove all of these starting with the GV70 and back to the GV70. When I test drove it the second time I knew immediately that I wasnt going back to any other car. It just had the right combination of sporty, elegance, looks and luxury that I wanted. It did everything right. Then came the purchasing experience. I went online to build it and the price at build was the same when the car was delivered after 6 months. I had the best dealership experience ever. No hustling, no markups, everything was super transparent and they threw in a tone of accessories for free. I have owned this car since September 2022 and I just love it so much. I recently flirted with the new GLC but after watching the edmunds.com comparison video I decided to stick to my G70. Love it!!

Great vehicle, the company is lacking

I have 44,000 KM on my 2023 GV70 2.5T Sport Prestige (in Canada) and it has been a very comfortable vehicle for me, even in the very harsh winters we have here. The technology, appearance and uniqueness of the vehicle are the main reasons I bought it. Interior comfort is excellent. Performance is very good in this price range. The problem is in the company itself - the US dealerships have sued Genesis to stay independent which has destroyed the service in most areas in the US. In Canada, Genesis Canada runs the operations and the dealerships simply provide hands-on services, so it works way better here. We actually get loaner vehicles and can make appointments in a week - in the US most don't have loaner vehicles and it can take 3 months to make an appointment. Greedy dealerships to blame for that. Genesis does not have a great service attitude - they need to learn from Lexus. If you call with an infotainment issue, they have no idea who to send you to - you end up in an endless loop of forwarded calls and nobody takes responsibility. They have a long way to go. They also won't take accountability for their many issues with eLSD, rear differential issues, transfer case issues, etc. There is a very high rate of failures and they don't seem to be working on doing anything about it. With my vehicle, it has had the steering rack, water pump, throttle body, door handle and rear differential replaced (twice) in the nearly 2 years I've had it. I don't have much faith that the rear diff isn't going to go out again because they haven't properly resolved the problem - they just keep replacing it and crossing their fingers. What I expect them to do at this point is to give me a lifetime warranty on that one part...but of course they won't even discuss that. Kia and Hyundai have done that on other vehicles so I'm not asking for anything that unusual. Anyway, I am very determined to make something work that I like so that's why I give it 4 stars. I'm not giving up on this because it is just too comfortable a vehicle to throw away at this point. I'm in it for the long haul. Plan on keeping this 10 years+. We'll see if I can hold out...

I have a 2023 Mauna Red AWD 2.5 LT Sport Prestige with Seville Red interior. Bought one month ago and the dealership offered $5000 off MSRP to make room for the 2024 models arriving the following week. I looked at this model as well as comparable models from BMW, Audi, and Mercedes over the last year and a half (waited for pandemic price gouging to come down). So far, this vehicle surpasses my expectations and is loaded with features the competition cannot meet at the price I paid. Massage driver's seat was a nice plus and the technology built into this model is insane (3 D instrument cluster, fingerprint sensor, built in hotspot, etc.). The turbocharged inline 4 has more than enough power and gas mileage is good for what you expect. The warranty is tops among competitors and offers free 3 year valet service (any service work gets you a free Genesis loaner and they pick up your car and bring it back) on top of the standard Hyundai/Kia warranty.
