Genesis G80
Love this car. Best vehicle I have ever had!
Bells and whistles
I love the style of this vehicle. It came with windows being tinted. Have a nice sound system and different features to switch up the way it sounds. It is a smooth ride. And the gas last pretty long to me. Only downfall I have about the car is the app to use the remote start being down. They don’t know how long it would be down for. And with it being crazy hot in Las Vegas, I would like to be able to cool my car down prior to getting into it. So far I haven’t had any issues but I’ve only had the car for about a week.

5.0 Ultimate is a very nice splurge
I did want the V8 and head up display so the Ultimate is the only option I was considering. Acceleration is amazing handling is very good for a large sedan. This car is a complete joy to drive especially on long road trips. I chose the RWD as winters here in NJ are not that horrible. I do like the look of the 2021 G80 but Genesis no longer offers the 5.0L V8 in the G80 - only turbo V6 or 4 cylinder. The mileage difference between the V8 and V6 turbo is minimal but I didn't want the reliability and maintenance headaches that come with a turbo. Interior comfort and cabin quiet is great. Remote start is only available through the Genesis connected services app and not the remote. It would be nice if the rear seats folded but there is a door that opens between the rear seats for longer cargo. Since Wuhan virus hit I drive <10K miles per year so mileage is not a concern for me. I have only had the car for three months so far with 2700 miles on it and no problems.

I appreciate the temperature and radio controls are available using a knob on the dash or steering wheel controls and I am not forced to use a touch screen although touch screen is available for those that want. Since Wuhan virus hit I drive <10K miles per year so mileage is not a concern for me.
