Had a Vette C-7 which was a great car, until I drove this beast! Slightly less money for more options, I am very impressed so far.

My son's goal in life was to buy a Shelby Mustang. In this case, the 2017 Shelby GT350. After many years of being around Fords and Mustangs, my son set a goal of reaching for the Shelby as a reward for his achievements in his business career. He began his adventure by building and collecting model cars including the early Shelby GT350H. Then he progressed to hand me down Ford Crown Vics and Grand Marquis for his transportation needs. I suggested that he set a goal for the real deal by advancing up the Mustang ladder. My son's first Mustang, was a used low mileage 2010 V6 coupe. It was a great car. He then moved to a 2014 Mustang GT coupe. It was also a great car that was remarkably dependable and a fun car to drive. He racked up over 140,000 miles on the '14 with no issues. He traded the 2014 in on a previously owned 2017 Shelby GT350 this past weekend. With his purchase he finally achieved his goal of rewarding himself with a Mustang Shelby. I did the leg work for him and put the deal together. My son didn't know how to drive a stick. He never sat in the car and he never saw the car before the purchase. But, he knew that he wanted the 2017 Shelby GT350. I drove the 2017 Shelby GT350 several times. In all honesty, I have never experienced a Ford product as refined and exhilarating as the GT350. The car was very comfortable and very well mannered and the sound of the exhaust was a joy to experience. The 5.2L V8 at 526 HP was amazing. Within an hour, I taught my son to drive a stick on this short throw, 6 speed manual transmission. As a longtime Ford owner who started with a 1957 Fairlane 500, I can honestly tell you, in my opinion, the 2017 Mustang Shelby GT350 is the most exciting, innovative Ford that I've driven in my lifetime. My son made a great choice. Well done son.

this car puts a dumb 15 yr old school girl grin on my face everytime i star it. i bought it gfor a weekend fun car and boy does it deliver. i was looking at the camaro zl1, but when taking a serious look, it still looked like a camaro. when you see this gt350 on the road it does not look like a mustang. it looks totally different, the stripes and the lines of the car make it look "special" and boy is it. i am used to driving manual cars and let me tell you, i want o shift at 4k but that is only half way to redline! the thing just keeps going and going with the rpm and its amazing... the higher the rpm the better the sound. i cant say enough positive things about this car and the way it drives. it is 100 percent a "drivers" car! i recommend this car in every way and if you have the chance to purchase one do not hesitate one bit

This car is crazy fun to drive on the street and track. It sounds great, brakes are amazing and it is very well balanced. I have driven to two track days, the car performed as advertised and I drove it home. It had no heating issues with engine or anything else (brakes, transmission, etc). The track days are addicting, and I plan to hit 3 more this summer. After 4 - 20 minute sessions, it showed 37 miles to empty. I have had no mechanical issues. The only not so fun part is cleaning the brake dust off of wheels, but it is soo worth it. I will find places to go eat or visit, just to get this car out on curvy roads. This is a true driver's car, and an incredible one at that.
