Great Fun Once a Few Things Are Updated!
I ordered mine from the factory, a 2013 GT Premium with 6-speed manual transmission and extra premium interior. No problems with the engine and trans as that is the main thing Ford got right (except for the occasional missed shifts in 2nd and third). One the other hand and under warranty Ford has replaced the following due to defects: left rear tail light ( visual quality issue), speaker grill (broken at factory), rear end bearings (noisy), front bumper cover (warped), rear view mirror (vibrating) and drivers leather seat cover (premature wear on welting). You would think these things would be caught in the factory as Quality is Job #1? Update: Once you change out the crappy suspension and replace the shifter with an MGW, the car is a keeper! Update 8/2020: Still a great car now made even better with addition of updated rear lower control arms and a Cortex watts link. Updated Feb 2021: I know have 57000, no problems, this car is very reliable and fun. Brings me back to my muscle car days every time I drive it.

ShiftingMyOwnGears
This car was purchased in 2019 (at 54k miles) to enjoy a better commute (60+ miles daily) after researching and test driving many vehicles with manual transmissions. The Mustang is great fun to drive and the aftermarket Roush exhaust system is entertaining in every gear. With the correct tires and with traction control enabled, the car handles very well in the rain, through corners, and during energetic acceleration. The ride is rigid, as it should be for a sports car; this model year still has a solid rear axle. With the stock gear ratios and regular grade fuel, sporty driving results in 19/26 mpg mix and very conservative driving has resulted in 23/30 mpg mix (maximum), a very acceptable range for a 420 HP V8. Aside from the strong V8/6-speed manual transmission fun combination, the Mustang GT also provides: super AC/Heat with intuitive controls, great sound system with Sync (this one also happens to have satellite radio), adequately comfortable rear seat space, surprisingly ample trunk space, easy to interpret and tastefully illuminated instrument cluster, highly functional and useful fog lamps (have had to use them and they work great), functional heat extractors in the hood, 19" stock Mustang wheels (other sizes available), bright-enough interior lighting, and good driving visibility that is enhanced with the unobstructed rear side windows and good side-view mirror function. Comfort depends on the individual drivers and passengers. Personal experience from the driver's position has been comfort for the driving duration. The driver's seat is a combination of electromechanical and manual adjustments. This model's engine is naturally aspirated and to date, at 96k miles, and keeping up with the scheduled maintenance, has only required a water pump replacement at 90k miles (was still able to drive to shop for service), and brake service on the rear for wear and on the front to clear the creaking of the caliper slides (a known issue), and new tires at 95k miles. Overall, this Mustang offers a preferred combination of retro and modern technical attributes, performance, practicality and reliability that immediately made the daily 60-mile commute seem too short. The reality is: the radio is rarely on, the windows are always down, every shift is thrilling and every exhaust note is musical. 2023 update: At 110k miles and still enjoying driving this Mustang and shifting through the gears. Replaced the AC compressor at 109.4k miles. So far, no other issues with the car. Keeping up with all scheduled maintenance. Daily commute is still 300+ miles weekly.

Great & Reliable Sports Car
I have owned my mustang for over a year now as it is my daily driver. The car is mechanically flawless. Everything works as it should. I love this car. It has the looks, power, handling, reliability and its practical. During winter I put on winter tires and I keep on driving. It has more than enough power and I get a combined mpg of 25. You can get up to 30 mpg with cruise control set at 60MPH. It also takes regular gas. I highly recommend this car if you like driving a reliable car that wont hurt your pockets. I have 95000 miles and I always do my regular maintenance which is very minimum on this car. Only big problem I had was the water pump going bad. All I did was pull over and restarted the engine and it went back to normal. Next day replaced the pump and thermostat for $400 parts & labor. Maintenance is affordable and the car is a pleasure to drive.

My great mustang
The V6 motor is very peppy especially with the 6speed manual. Great gas mileage especially on the road, some times as high as 32mpg.

2013 GT Premium Automatic
Love the car. Had it for 6 weeks. Went with the automatic - a little easier on the drive to work. Just a great ride - looks like the end of an era. looks awesome sitting next to our 66 5 speed coupe.
