100,000 a I still don't want to say goodbye!
I bought the car used at 25,000 miles and have had no major repairs. It's great for the two of us to go on trips. 3 of us took it on a 1000 mile trip and we did ok. Just needed to pack light. Our original plans were to upgrade at 90,000 miles-but I just can't part with it.

What an awesome machine ...
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. This car is all about V-8 acceleration, aggressive styling, and rough-around-the-edges American nostalgia and attitude. It's about the mechanical beauty and intoxicating exhaust note of the Coyote 5-liter V-8. It's about feeling a little bit like Steve McQueen every time you drive to work. And it's about your kids actually wanting you to drive them places. The Mustang GT is not perfect, but nothing else quite compares - it's more of a state of mind than a car. Buy the premium package with the 401A upgrade and you have little to complain about in terms of interior appearance and materials. Still some hard plastic, but hey, this is not a BMW. My wife has one of those and the interior is nicer but you pay dearly for it. My only complaint is as follows (who buys a car like this and then complains about gas mileage, noise, or rear seat accommodations?): The interior storage spaces are not well-designed. I can't keep my sunglasses or anything else useful in the door pockets, since as I don't have suction cups on my fingers, retrieving them is a two-handed operation involving scraped knuckles and bad language. The cup holders are horribly placed for a manual transmission car. The first month I owned the car I kept deploying the console bin lid with my elbow. These things make little sense to me in a car that's built mainly for the fun of driving. But that's really it.

No competition for the price
I'll start off saying I might be biased, I'm a second generation Mustang owner, and I hope this is my first of many. This car feels powerful, especially for the price. 325hp - and you can feel every pony (pun intended). Fuel economy is good, I get about 21-26 mpg highway, city can go down to 17 if it's a lot of stop and go. It really does not feel under powered like the V6 Challenger does. Sequential turn signals are spiffy too. The one thing to be warned about, is if you are a lead foot like me, you can get some pretty scary axle hop as the suspension isn't independent like cars twice the price. And it is cruel and unusual to put adults in the back seat.

My Mustang
I've had my Mustang for a week, and I love it. It has fantastic giddyup, pretty good mileage, and it looks better than anything else on the road. The engine is swift and responsive, the SelectShift transmission is smooth, and I'm enjoying the Electronics package with Sync, Navigation and entertainment options.
a fun drive and quite responsive.
check out if the rear swaybar needs replacing also the water pump as people have had them replaced like I did before 30000 miles. I have had to spray the front shocks with wd 40 every so many miles as they start to squeak. other than that I give this car a lot of credit for driveability and pep at 305 hp. I went from 21500 at 2014 purchase price to 11000 black book price in 2017 seems a big devaluation than I would have expected.
