BEST SUV EVER! have this car as a company car for a year and still no problems at all. We had a 1997 Taurus and a 2005 escape.I love this car a lot!

3.5 L V-6 twin-turbo is awesome! The car hauls! Interior is very nice and quite. Smooth ride. Great for a long road trip. Lots of feature at a decent price. I would put up it's features, performance, and price up against any foreign or domestic car/SUV. If you have not owned a domestic car before, give this one a try. You will love it...and have a lot of extra cash in your pocket I was a BMW guy for 25+ yrs . I owned a 328, M3, and X5. This is a great SUV. The Ford Explorer Platinum is really quick for a heavy SUV. Take a test and and you can decide.

Leg room not great for taller person ... ride is a bit hard ... blind spots make some situations more difficult, but the camera and blind spot technology certainly helps ...overall would purchase again ...

I initially lease my 2017 Explorer as I didn't want to get stuck in a SUV i hated for 5 years again. I fell in love with it. Well less than 46k miles and 9 recalls later, again I'm disappointed. Twice in for a total sunroof replacement, motor etc. the dealership had my Explorer 1 week short of 2 months due to parts issues. Even though I like the size and ride, it's good bye forever FORD!

Not the best in class

Tires chipped and cracked at 20,000 km. Ford warranty does not cover tires! Airbag light on at 60000 km and not covered by extended warranty because wiring was blamed. Battery dies at 70000. Very poor support from Ford
