ZX2 looks good, drives well, very easy on gas. Have had it for almost 4 years and not a single repair. I recommend it to anyone who wants a sporty smaller car that performs well.

This car is extremely cheap to own, even with gas prices where they are. I can get 325 miles on a tank. She's not the fastest going up hills, but acceleration is great for a 4 cylinder. I was told there was a recall on the rear seatbelts. I recommend this car for those who don't need a fast sporty car and like to save money on gas.

I bought this ZX2 in December of 2000 and the vehicle has been excellent and reliable transportation since I have had it. It has only been back to the dealer one time and that was for the hood not opening properly. Other than that all I have done has been change the oil, tranny fluid and gas and go. For a small car the ZX2 has plenty of pep and gets excellent gas mileage. The only negative to this vehicle is when I was looking into trading it had depreciated more than I would have expected. I would recommend the ZX2 to anyone looking for a small car that gets excellent gas mileage.

It's a pretty sweet ride. It's comfy, but probably not if you're more than about 6'1''. It's pretty quick. It's loud, but one gets used to it. The stereo is nice, installing a hi/low converter for a new amp is a pain though.

This is my second Escort. The 1st one I had (1991) finally died after 265,000 miles on it (Nnver changed engine or tranny). This one has been dependable so far, but is noisier inside. I think the interior is not as plush since it was a fleet car. So ... on long rides it can get pretty loud. But the fuel economy makes up for this.
