Never Again

We have been a Ford Family since 1965. We have a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium. Early Summer 2023 we lost use of air conditioner. $4,500 to repair. We will wait until we can save, and just roll down the windows. End of Summer 2023 we lost the transmission. It would cost $8,500 to repair. We as a family cannot afford to spend $13,000 (approximately) on a car that's worth about 10K. We only had 80,000 miles on the vehicle, we were hoping for at least 100K. Never Again.

Twice now i have had the cargo door close on top of me when putting groceries in the back. I have the tow package and we used it once. We have a cargo box for camping. Noticed when we got back my shocks were bad.

This is the worst car I've ever owned out of about 12 and the 4th ford and last. This is the 2nd with a rebuilt transmission. Also swollen lug nuts, pain in the ass to get to battery, front blinkers this car is made to be costly to do any repairs.85k on transmission.

We like our 2106 Titanium for it is very comfortable, has a good power,... but, the radio is a Sony and it really does suck. Reception is the main issue and when I compare it to our 07 Infinity with a Bose radio, you can really hear how bad the Sony reception is. I have had three cars with Sony radios in them and all three of the radios had honorific reception.
