Slug

This is the most underpowered slug of a brick I have ever owned. LTZ fully loaded. Power side step Doesn’t work half the time. Gotta leave it all Up to cruise controls and endure what ever happens. Takes two days to stop The thing give it no less that 100 feet once your on the break and 0-60 in five days. 4wheel Drive but can’t go in snow. Hardly ok in rain. I wouldn’t think of towing anything with this. No way it would do it. Death trap if you need get up in a hurry your out of luck. Third row on the floor. Useless. Power seats with no room for storage. And you have to be at the rear access to operate the folding seats. Major blind spots. So big it won’t fit in a space. Back up camera... I have to open the door and look down to see if I’m really in the space. Front collision warning goes off for no reason. Heads up display unexpectedly quit then came back on. This land boat is a pimp mobile that shouldn’t be driven faster that 15 mph.

switching from rwd Tahoe to 4X4 Tahoe

My Tahoe is pearl colored with the two-tone Cocoa and mahoghany interior. There is a dash cover on the dash and custom floor mats and cargo mat in it. The Tahoe I am purchasing will have the bigger engine and 4X4, due to moving to TN from FL. The incline on our land calls for a 4X4.

I have had three Tahoe trucks. This years Tahoe is the best yet. I got 23 gallons on a 14 hour trip. Great look inside. The only thing I wish this truck had was the push button start on standard models. It come with the upgraded package.

Some Issues with less than 36K miles

LPM, 01/23/2023

My LTZ has been a joy to drive for the first 33,000 miles. This is early 2023 and I have less than 36,000 miles. Both warranties expired and my infotainment started having intermittent phantom issues in 2021 after an oil change. I didn't want to take it to the dealership because I couldn't guarantee the same issue would show itself. My lumbar deflates after driving for 10 minutes and I like it fully inflated so I often have to reach down and inflate it. For the price I paid for this luxury vehicle, I would expect it to function without issue. I was told the infotainment needs a firmware update $149. It started leaking oil in my garage and was told a bolt needed to be replaced and they have never seen this issue and must have happened during manufacturing $325. The front light started leaking and filled with condensation a year after I purchased it. The warranty paid for this repair, thankfully. I have yet to hit 36,000 miles and wondering if I should get rid of it before it begins to cost more for repairs.

I like the color and the way it handles and performs. The price was fair and the salesman did a fantastic job on selling the vehicle
