One of the best
I own a 1991 Chevy Blazer 4WD for my high school truck, I turned 16 about 7 months ago and I love this truck! Super reliable, great gas mileage. Me and my buddy drove from Binghamton New York to Norfolk Virginia on a full tank of gas, we didnt stop for gas once! Great styling, I think these trucks have great lines to them. All around one of the best trucks Chevy has ever made no doubt.
One reliable Chevy
Bought used in '97 w/only 48,000 orig. miles. Vehicle distress sale due to break-in. Only problem found later was glass bits under rear bench indicating prior burlary/theft. Currently at 97,000 miles runs perfect. Factory build sheet includes over $5700 in add-ons including ext. trans & oil coolers, Posi, etc. Installed dual exhaust system, otherwise stone stock and very quick for a 3700lb vehicle. 4.3 liter Chevy engine perhaps the best ever in a small SUV. Runs cool in FL weather, AC still perfect, Could not ask for a more reliable and flashy vehicle.
Keeps going and going
April 1990 I treated myself to college grad present of a 1991 4 dr S10 4WD Tahoe Sport loaded by the dealer and on the rotating display. Hauled it to AZ and received many turning heads. I keep her clean and maintained and have just passed 120K miles. Drivers seat needs a little padding and there are a few more odd noises, but almost every weekend I climb up a 6000ft hill sometimes with a trailer.
Great Car
I have had this car for 16 years, it has 120,000 miles and I admit it was not as well cared for as it should have been, but I still had no major problems. The car is very well styled, well built, and very reliable. I highly recomend it as the best car in its price range.
The Best Used Vehicle I've Owned
This is the first SUV I've owned. It's a 4X4, 2-door, loaded. I've driven a friend's Blazer 4X4 and fell in love with it, and wanted one. It took me 5-6 months to find one in acceptable shape. I've only owned this vehicle for 3 weeks now, but if someone offered to buy it from me, I'd tell them to jump in a lake (I like this vehicle more than my previous one a 99 S-10 Ext Cab Pick up). If you own an older Blazer, don't get rid of it, you'll be sorry.
not SAFE to really drive
as a fun fact with these s10's this is the very meaning of a 1 STAR crash test just popping the hood and looking in and all i can see is anything over 40mph is fatal! any head on collision just to the right or left of the engine block doing over 40mph is lethal ! in my 1991 blazer no safety lock belts no air bags no anti-lock 100% hollow thin metal with no reinforcement ( other than the engine block but they would have to hit the engine directly to really be any protection in a head on ) dont get me wrong i love tf out of this 2 door s10 blazer 4x4 tahoe lt but WOW is this a scary ride on tight 2 lane roads ! just knowing a itty bitty car like a Miata could obliterate you and they could buff you off the point job and drive away from your mangled vehicle really sets in over 40 to 50mph

Amazing vehicle
My 1st taste of the S10 blazer was helping my dad restore a 2.8 l. 1988 blazer fie my older brother and I know my dad had a S10 pick up, But not much else on that story I've owned at least a dozen of these and every one I've owned and sold still runs today They do almost feel like they have their own personality and what you would call a soul They're fun and easy and comfortable to drive and if you want to go 4 wheeling or trailing they're amazing in that category too Perfect for family and perfect for fun
